Nice solid bit of kit
My bits are 3/8" round shanks, so I just ground a small flat using the side of the CBN wheel.Nice and long for the bottom of deep vases, but be aware that the collar is 19 mm so 20 mm is probably the smallest hole you can make.

Sturdy and well made
I bought this for a slightly small hex and it held the bit firmly as I was able to bore deep into a wooden log to create a vase. End held firmly in chuck and there was no drift. Excellent.
