But they don't fit. a sizing guide on the sales page would be more helpful. Luckily I didn't spend alot on them and know someone who can use them.

I like the thickness of the suede. They are a bit on the bog side but still work for me. I got the small and have slice calves. The only complaint I have is the stitching quality is very poor. I have to sew on Velcro tab immediately before ever wearing and every time I use these the stitching falls apart more on pretty much every Velcro tab. I need to find someone locally to reinforce with a heavy duty sewing machine.

In the past, I have found it very difficult to find velcro half chaps and chaps in general that fit my legs. I think manufacturers such as Ar and Ov must be making chaps to fit teenage girls. To find zipper chaps that fit, I have had to buy extra large but I'm just 5' 4" with average size legs. I originally ordered the large in this particular chap, but they were too long and too wide. Sent back and ordered a medium, which fit perfectly. Strap behind knee has plenty of velcro for attaching, the remaining tabs were line up perfectly. The velcro is top notch and the suede leather is sturdy. Go for it!

Since I couldn't find tall riding boots that worked, I got a pair of Ariat paddock boots in Wide (ahhh!) plus these black half-chaps. They work great for grip, calf-protection, and generally looking sharp in a "I hang out at the barn too much" kind of way. No complaints about fit, just measure and check your size, and they look to outlast my potential years in the saddle.

After reading reviews on size I ordered a medium. They were too tight so I ordered a large. The difference between the two sizes was extreme. Mediums were tight and the large was falling off too big.Good quality suade though.

I really wish it were easier to find velcro half-chaps- so much easier and more adaptable than the zippers! i was happy to find these. So far they have been great.

I was afraid that a small would be too small, but its fits perfectly and the suede is very good quality. I wanted the velcro so that they would be adjustable.

I have a fairly narrow calf and these are too small. I have about an inch gap.
