Didn’t use it yet but the flour as a green color I know my cookies will come out great .The price is also great .

Bitter
The ground pistachios I got had a very bitter taste to them, and gave me a bit of a toxic feel after being eaten. Basically seems like the stuff has gone rancid and still ended up being sold. I used it to make kulfi, figured maybe it'll somehow be ok if used as an ingredient, but the kulfi tasted bitter and toxic.Bad stuff. Don't recommend it.

I love pistachios and this is a nice option to have on hand to incorporate the nuts into so much more cooking. The first thing I made were some lemon pistachio cookies. The original recipe called for almond flour, but I subbed this 1:1. The flavor is good and they came out great. you could use this for macarons as well. I can't wait to try it mixed into coatings for fish and chicken as well.The packaging is a vacuum sealed bag (which looks a wretched texture to me), so you'll have to move it to another container for storage after you open it. I did stay all clumped together and I had to break it down with a fork to get a ground flour like texture.

Great flavor, easy to use, fresh pistachio taste
As shown, this product arrives in a 1kg, dense, vacuum sealed bag, ready for use. Even with vacuum sealing, I recommend using this within a couple of months (or possibly freezing if you have to wait for a while to use it), just to be use there is no issue with this delicate nut flour.That said once you open the package and give this a try, I suspect you will quickly go through the entire contents. We used this flour for making cookies with variety of additions - chocolate chips, almond slices, pumpkin seeds - the choices are endless. Raisins and craisins will be in the next batch we match. Without a doubt, the resulting pistachio cookies were loved by everyone that tried them.Pistachio flour should be a good substitute for almond flour in most situations, and in any event, the results will bring a flavorful result that is sure to be a crowd pleaser.Very happy to have made this purchase and pleased with the quality of the product we received. Will definitely be adding pistachio flour to the ingredient list for special occasions in the future!
