Well made and useful
I've found this to be a great product for stretching out ankle in different directions as opposed to just front and back. Though it's simple in design, it seems durable and I expect to use it for many years.

Excellent tool for Achilles heel stretches and plantar fasciitis.
Great knock-off of the sidekick tool. Once I saw how much the sidekick was, I thought, “I hope there’s a dupe version that’s cheaper.” And this is it. It’s been great for helping my son with an Achilles heel injury and my husband’s plantar fasciitis. And at my gym, they have the sidekick and a knock-off version. My trainer showed me how there is basically no difference between the knockoff and the name brand.

Slight Modification Improves The Design
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Works well. However, the forward piece rotates into the rear piece. If you have a precision saw, like a bandsaw or Japanese pull saw, make a controlled cut about 3/8" or 1/2" up to about 1" in.

So helpful for Achilles injury
Developed Achilles tendonopothy that would not go away for months. I shopped around for various balance boards and came across much more expensive options. This has worked wonders, and after a few months of frequent us,e my pain has finally subsided. Great value for money, and the quality is solid for what it is. Has great instructions for exercises that have really helped.

Incredible Value compared to alternatives being listed at $90
There is a bigger brand that sells essentially this exact product for $90, maybe it's because they package it with a better guide. This product is well-built and comes with a simple manual outlining a few variations of orientations to use. I deal with posterior tibial tendonitis and I find that using the "default" orientation is all i need. Using this a few times a week has really strengthened my ankles and running has been much more comfortable. The size is very small and can be tucked away anywhere. Overall a great value with a simple design that is a much better deal than the bigger name alternative.

Probably not that difficult, directions just difficult to follow
Nice board. First..... I consider my self to be a smart enough person. But, I'm really struggling to feel like I'm really working any muscles when I do what I think is instructed in the directions. But I'm going to keep trying. It seems like a good enough tool. Second.... its definitely well made. Nice smooth surfaces and thick enough boards. I believe if I attached a 20 lb weight to the velcro bar that attaches to the boards and held it up, I don't think the bar would loosen from either board. The velcro used to atta h the bars to the board is ridiculously strong. Too strong for me. Detaching the velcro bars from the board is almost impossible for me. I'm rethinking whether or not to keep this because even if I don't need to change the bars out often, it is close to impossible for me to change the bars out and painful. I don't know if it's worth it. I don't have real strong hands but I should be able to at least remove the bars from the foot pad without using a lot of strength. I'm giving it a three-star rating just because there's a double negative here. I'm betting others can do it well, but, I think I need instructions from a person.

Broke on the First Use. Flimsy Materials. Wish I Had Paid for the Sidekick Instead
I really wanted to like this product, but it literally broke on the very first use. The wood around the cord split immediately, and once you hold it in your hands you understand why — the materials feel thin, soft, and not sturdy enough for any kind of real balance or stability training. I bought this thinking it would be a budget alternative to the Sidekick AxisBoard. Now I know why the Sidekick costs more. This one just doesn’t feel durable or safe. The design concept is good, but the execution is cheap, and I wouldn’t trust this with patient use or even regular home training. If you’re considering this for rehab, balance work, or ankle/foot strengthening, I’d skip this and go with something made with higher-quality materials. This one went straight back to the box. Not recommended.

Came without box or instructions, just random bits of wood. I have no idea what exercises I could do or the best way to put it together to attempt an exercise. The basics should be getting an instruction manual.

A weird device - but it worked well in expanding out a pair of Doc Martins - it’s well built - I got two in my kit.
