Nothing wrong with the books condition. The writing can be a bit much from Grant but they deliver with the help from Frank quietly in that final issue.

These new Marvel Modern Era Epic collections are a great accessible way to read early 2000s X Men comics I was reading the single issues between 1992 though to not long after the early 2000s I read everything X and then I stopped , not sure why but life , maybe girls 😀, anyway a few years ago the with house of X powers of X (the start of the krakoan era) I started reading again via trade papers backs and they are rebooting again now. (Which looks like a return to form to be blunt) So far I've picked up this beautiful work from Grant morrison and Frank quietly with others which is labeled Vol.1 it's a great jumping on point for a modern feeling series even though it's early 2000s it feels like today. I've also picked up vol.1 of astonishing x men and captain america vol.1 as well as again they seem to be around the time I stopped reading so I can fill in the gaps. I'll review those too as I go. Now my advice to you is use the seller books etc. They have great prices usually wait until the book has been published and then order as they are much cheaper than pre order , also they package them in tight fitting box envelopes that so far have led to zero damages, unlike amazon who send everything in a thin card sleave that once dropped bybthe postman damages the corners . So books etc.. they are great look for them in the market place.

It's an amazing read from start to finish. This tale is so intense, keeping you on the hook. The dark aspect of the tale helps. The characters are well-developed. The writing really showcases the complexity of the X-Mne. The artwork is great too. It's a great addition to any collection. I think you should definitely grab a copy if you're a fan.
