The right tool for the many jobs I have to get done. I don't give out many 5 stars, but this being a Fluke multimeter and having all the correct modes I need it gets 5 stars. Great product, good price, well packaged, and even comes with batteries. Ready to go to work right out of the box. Good fit, functional, and accurate with just the right speed to make all the jobs easier. Gets the jobs done easier & faster with great safety.

I'm pleased with this meter. I've used less expensive meters over the years and they did not last - some just stopped working, some started giving me readings that I didn't trust. My goal was to buy one more meter and have it last. I won't know about that until I've had it for a while ;-), but the built quality is excellent and you can tell the difference between this Fluke and those other less expensive ones:1. The display is large and easy to read2. When you click to the different measurements, V ac, V dc, etc., it engages solidly.3. Auto ranging was fast.It's just a really nice meter.I've only used it for V dc, Ohms, and I tested the thermocouple, so I can't speak to the other functions, but the ones that I tested worked great. Speaking of the thermocouple, I tested it in an ice bath, between two ice cubes, and I got 0.4 degrees Centigrade and 33.1 degrees Fahrenheit. It also seems to be reading correctly in room temperature, compared to my home thermostat and a stand-alone thermometer.There were some things that I saw in some other reviews that worked fine for me:- Some reviewers said that when you used the audio continuity that it was slow - it was instantaneous for me.- Some said that the tone was not loud enough - it was plenty loud for meI'm totally satisfied and I'm not surprised. It seems that Fluke, which has been a trusted brand for a very long time, has maintained its level of quality. 5 Stars.

Perfect meter for mechanics. I bought it to replace my snap on meter and it’s fantastic. I really like the temperature probe for when I’m working on ac.

Sturdy, easy to read display and all the functions I will use around the house. Compared to my other two multimeters (30 years old) this is a winner.

Fluke always have good meters in my opinion, the 17B is another good one. It has all the features I wanted and more. It could even be better if the carrying case was offered also.

I purchased this to augment my now-aging Fluke 77 multimeter. This new unit includes all the capabilities a budding electronics engineer needs today. I have found the micro-ammeter and duty-cycle functions to be immensely useful in my power-saving investigation, though if you are really serious about power, you need to be Abe to look at the actual waveform of the data as well.For general electronics work, this is easily the best meter in or near its price class. Inclusion of a US warranty in the box was a bonus. Its speed was far faster than anything near it. Note that it does not feature TrueRMS measurement, the only standout function for a general multimeter that is lacking.

Works as intended, feels good in hand and for all the things I need it for it’s more then adequate.
