Gave this to my nephew for his 9th birthday, and it was a hit. The extended family was together for the weekend, and he had it in his hands constantly after opening it. Seriously, he had it in hand until he went to bed and was sitting with it on the couch the next morning, still in pj's and waiting for his cousins to roll out of bed so they could play again. I was very disappointed at being sent the green and white version after specifically choosing the wood-brown style, but he was unphased. My soon-to-be-12-yr-old was vicariously excited about it, and the two of them assembled it and learned how to use it without any problems--my son had watched the product video with me when we were shopping, but that and whatever printed instructions may have been in the box were all they apparently needed. The cousins all had a big foam-blaster war that lasted for hours, and they didn't lose any of the pellets for this shotgun, even though the bird/buck shot is tiny. I imagine the 9-yr-old's vigilance in that department will wane with time though, so I hope there are replacement packs for those little darts. Still, even if he ends up using it only for the regularly sized darts, I can see him loving this for a long time. They just think the double-barrelled action is amazing, loved ejecting the shells ... so silly :D We will see how well it holds up, but based on what I saw over the weekend, it seems like it will be worth the money.

Awesome toy gun, my 11 year old and his friends had a great time playing with it!

My nephew was so excited when he unwrapped this at his birthday party. So much so that he opted to pause opening gifts so that we could assemble this and try it out. I had also ordered a target to go with this (and luckily I ordered an archery set for his birthday as well because at least he got something that he could actually play with), but this never worked, so we never got to try it with the target. The foam darts wouldn't ever eject, no matter which way they got loaded. I'm not sure if maybe it's missing a piece or if we just absolutely can't figure out the correct way to load it, but we spent such a long time exhausting every possible way we could think of to load it. He ended up enjoying the archery set, but he stated how disappointed he was with this low quality, generic toy because after the confusion of setting it up (the instructions were of little assistance), he couldn't try it out. It would never shoot the foam bullets, so we took it apart time and time again and tried reloading it to no avail. He was so hopeful each time, but each time he was let down because he said it looks so cool and that he knew if it would just load and shoot properly that it would be hours upon hours of fun, but unfortunately we never got it to work. It's obviously not a good value because it wasn't just cheaply made, but rather altogether defective and it's simply no fun to unwrap and awesome toy on your birthday only to spend hours trying to get it to work, only to be let down time and time again. I'm not sure if we're the only ones who had such a negative experience. Perhaps this was an isolated incident and I hope for other's sake that it was because our experience was a disappointing and frustrating one, but this knockoff nerf shotgun has the potential to be the best birthday gift ever for a boy hitting double digits (turning ten years old). My birthday wish for him is that we can have the opportunity to try a fully functioning version of this supposed soft foam darts ejecting double barrel shotgun, with the scope to aim and all. If it worked properly and shot out darts as described it would be hands down the most fun ever, even for someone my age (who's practically half way to triple digits). I hope to somehow find a way to fix it because I had originally planned on ordering a second one for my son's birthday, but obviously I won't spend the money on a second one until I'm certain that the issue with this one was just an isolated incident. Hopefully when I contact the seller that can give me some insight on what to do from here, Android I will update my review accordingly once I have more info on that. Stay tuned!

I bought this gun because I wanted a nerf shotgun. It comes with the stock not attached to the gun so you have to put it together, although it’s not hard to assemble just connect them and screw them together. It is of decent quality although the barrels can be a little loose. It has a blaze orange trigger, ejectors, and the tips of the barrels are also blaze orange which is very nice. You have to pump it up by opening and closing the barrels (with the black lever on the back) to give it some power and it performs very well, sending darts flying far and will hit hard. It’s very fun to play with and it was certainly worth my money.

My son was very happy with this toy gun. Fires long distances. He assembled it himself. However the scope broke when he dropped it. I would love to order a replacement scope but can’t see how to contact seller?
