Best ac fan
Yah buy this one ! it works great and keeps any room I put it in cool in the summer ! They different speeds are great normally keep mine at 2 , I like that you have a choice to use it with water or without and even without water it still cools nicely. I have had no problems with water or sound it’s easy too fill up too and Ice pack doesn’t take long to freeze I only put one in the fan at a time.

Best purchase for summer!
This fan is worth every penny!! Quiet, so efficient (we don’t have AC in all rooms). You can add ice pack and the air comes out nice and chilly!

Moves air very quiet.
I'm currently sitting about 12-15 ft. from it and can feel it on a setting of 2. Feels like a gentle breeze on a cool day. I've had this for about a month now and I enjoy the versatility of this fan. First of all, it does put out a lot of air. Box fan: in the trash. Pedestal fan: now an outside decoration for my morning glories. Now, this is using this as a fan only and not as an AC. For me it feels like it covers more space- if that makes sense and for me it's really quiet compared to box and pedestal fans.Setup was SUPER easy. Snaped the base together, twisted into locking position, and after getting the cord in place was ready to go. Less than 7 min from opening the box and I was already testing it out.Cooling: We found using ice packs did bring the air coming out of the unit down 2 degrees lower then ambient temp. We also found similar slim ice packs at Wally and bought two more. We currently run Distilled water to reduce on scale buildup and usually don't run the ice water except if it's 95 or above outside. We also found that filling it full with the packs would last us aprox six hours before it would reach empty line.Cons: It is a bit top heavy and will wobble if/when moved. Personally, I found a spot for it and pretty much leave it alone. I don't particularly like the base, it feels a tiny bit flimsy for the quality of the rest of the fan.Con2: Which isn't really a con, but more of a nuisance because I'm scared to break the thing if I do what the book says...but, pulling out the tank at the bottom.. I usually sit on the floor, put my foot against the base to keep it steady and keep it from sliding all over, and just pull the tank out as far as it will go without resistance. Now, that said... The manual says you should reach down into the tank and press the tabs on either side of the pump...uh, yeah first of all, I'm not reaching in there no matter how clean cuz my hands too big... and the tank will then easily slide out. So, it will or should pull out far enough to add water and slide the frozen bricks in and out.So far, so good. I love it and am glad I purchased.

Potentially dangerous
The fan, despite its high cost, does cool effectively. However, several issues detract from its overall usability:*will mold if not cleaned at least weekly**Health Hazard*1. **Water Retention Problem**: The fan doesn't fully deplete the water tank, leaving water at the bottom that must be manually poured out. This stagnant water can lead to mold growth, which poses a health risk as it can spread through the fan and into the air.2. **Refilling Issues**: The product is advertised as being easy to refill with a jug, but this is not advisable. Allowing water to sit at the bottom can cause it to become murky and yellow within days if not properly emptied and cleaned.3. **Cleaning Challenges**:- **Tank Cleaning**: Cleaning the tank is cumbersome as it requires detaching the filter each time. The tank has too many curves and hard-to-clean spots, making thorough cleaning difficult.- **Cooling Pad**: The cooling pad is impossible to clean effectively.4. **Odor Concerns**: There is a noticeable odor upon initial use and sometimes when refilling. In summary, while the fan cools well, its design flaws, cleaning difficulties, and potential health hazards significantly reduce its overall value and convenience.

Works great
Easy assembly, works great. Bought for grandson's bedroom instead of a window airconditioner. He loves it and it helps to keep his room cool even in this 90 degree heat. Just ordered a second one for our bedroom. Only problem was shipping. It is sent through the post office and I get my mail through a drop box so I have to go to Post Office to pick up the large box and have it carried to my vehicle because I am disabled and handicapped.
