This flooring kit is what you want. I have bought the plastic block and pull bar kit back in the day when I had lived at my old house. Old house was much smaller. I have somewhat recently moved to a house with much more space in the living room and dining room. We planned on redoing both as they tie together. I've got to say the tapping block that comes with this kit has simplified locking in laminate without damaging it. I would have paid $30-40 for the tapping block alone. It feels like quality. The pull bar is much better and solid than what you revieve in the other kits. When I did floor at the old house I could not tell you how many pieces of flooring I had chipped and damaged with old tapping block and pull bar. The knee pads, shaper, and hammer were an added plus. I did not really care much for the spacers. I was needing a half inch between walls and they were not cutting. I ended up purchasing spacers separate. I would definitely recommend this kit for anyone about to redo their floors. You will have quality tools that will last your lifetime, have less broken/chipped floors, and your installation of the floors will simplified.

I've installed two bedrooms using this set. It works well. The pull bar and the tapping block work great. I couldn't use the spacers, they would just fall over. I would pass on them. The knee pads are ok. The tool to outline for cuts seems a little cheap and I didn't have a need for it. The mallet seems fine too. If buying again, I would just buy the pull bar and tapping block. Get your spacers and mallet somewhere else. My two cents.

Didn't use most of what this too kit come with but, the tapping block is great. Surprisingly the knee pads were better than mine. Price is right, good quality.

I installed lvp throughout my entire house and used this set. Worked great! Would buy again.

Honestly, really great. I used all of these tools to install almost 2,000 sqft of flooring in my house and the tools were not the limiting factor. The tapping block is actually way better than the standalone one I bought from Home Depot and the knee pads are pretty comfortable for the price. I’m going to continue to use this hammer and the pull bar is HEAVY, which is what you want. The contour gauge is also a solid value considering what those things cost on their own. The spacers are… spacers.

The tapping block and pull bar are very heavy duty. The hammer is the weakest link of the kit. You can make it work but I elected to use my own which has more weight to it, which I found to be more effective. Didn’t use the spacers, wouldn’t expect much from that style spacer to be honest. Overall still 5 stars, since this whole kit is less than just the identical name brand tapping block. The block and pull bar are well worth it.

Tools are well made and perform their intended function perfectly. For those folks with a heavy hand, tap lightly by placing the top or bottom end against the board and using a rotating or hinging motion rotate the tapping block to contact the board. Gentle is best until you get the hang of it. Other than that, this is a very good kit and cost effective. Thank you
