Nice lovely large pizza peel.Easy to clean under warm running water with a soapy sponge.the size helps slide the fresh pizzas into a pizza stone as well as be used as a presentation and serving surface.The peel is sturdy and does not scuff easily.

This is a very good pizza board. We will use it for placing our pizza on, when served at the table.We haven't yet made a pizza since getting this, but it's going to be used as our go to pizza serving board. We usually place the pizzas on a large breadboard, but this is more suitable. It was bigger than I expected and what makes it feel really big, is the massive handle; it just adds to the overall BIGNESS of it all.It's a good quality board, and we will now be able to place our large pizza straight onto the oven shelf, then slide this board under it too remove it after cooking. That's where this board will have a really practical use.I recommend it, even though it isn't cheap .

Chef Pomodoro Pizza Peel 14inch (35.5cm)This pizza peel arrives in a heat shrink sealed wrapper for protection and scratches.You first notice the superb quality and also the stunning wood grain of this piece as well as how manageable it is to handle a peel with a huge surface area like this.The wood used is Acacia and is sanded to a perfect finish as smooth as glass.The handle size is 17cm long and 4cm wide which gives you more control when holding.Very pleased with the design and also the quality of this peel and that this can also be used as a serving tray at a gathering as it is stylish enough.

This is made from a beautiful wood. I love the grain. The surface is smooth with no rough edges. The handle is quite short, so bear this in mind to make sure it meets your needs, and it has an attached string for hanging/storage.This makes presentation very special. I don’t intend to mar the surface by cutting on it, but that’s just my preference. I also intend to use it for other savoury foods and presentations, such as cheese and biscuits/ cold meats/tapas etc.The price is quite steep at £39.99, but it is a lovely piece of kitchen equipment that will last if well looked after. Can recommend it.

Unfortunately I received the bamboo one instead of the acacia which was a huge shame because I really like the dark colour and grain of acacia wood, but the bamboo one is still fantastic quality and finished nicely. It has a good weight to it and the edges smoothly rounded, which allows you to pick up the pizza with ease. It might seem like a lot of money to spend looking at the price but I can tell this is something that will last a while and if you like pizza then it's a well worth buy, especially if you make them from scratch.

I ordered the 14-inch Acacia wood pizza peel by Chef Pomodoro.First, this is a hardwood, polished paddle from end to end. The peel is completely wood with no metal or plastic parts. The wood is so smooth and hard that family members watching me make pizza commented on how nice it is.The 14-inch peel can ostensibly launch a round pizza of the same size. The front of the peel is tapered (sharpened) on both sides so you could push it under a pizza. The peel is close to one quarter of an inch thick though. So I took the gentler approach of placing my hands on opposite sides of a dressed dough and pulling it onto the lightly dusted peel. Launching was no problem at all. I just tipped the peel down and pulled it out after the front of the dough contacted the pizza stone.The 14-inch size may be unwieldy for small ovens or small pizzas. However, I wanted it for making pizzas that my 12-inch wood and perforated aluminum peels can not handle. The new peel is an improvement over unpolished wood since it launches dough so much easier with no friction. For comparison, an aluminum peel can be rapidly shoved under a dressed pizza shell like magic. I dare not try that with this thicker Acacia peel, but pulling a pizza with two hands, or even one hand if you push the peel forward at the same time, works for large pizzas.As I mentioned, this peel makes launching a pizza easy. I do not use it for retrieving pizzas. For turning pizzas and retrieving them from the oven, I use a steel spatula -- no worries about charring the tool, and it can pull a pizza onto a large plate waiting at the opening of the oven.Note that the bottom of this peel does blacken from touching a pizza stone. I cook at over 700 F so this is to be expected.I am impressed by this Chef Pomodoro peel and look forward to making bigger pizzas for my family. Since the Acacia wood offers both strength and low friction, the peel will also be good for launching heavy loaves of bread.

This pizza peel is fantastic for use with a typical shallow home pizza oven! It looks beautiful, first of all, and it has a nice strap for hanging it from a hook to put away or display on a wall if you want to. It's small enough (12in.) to use on small single-pizza ovens you may have at home. The wood has a tapered edge that makes it nice for sliding pizza on and off of. Using this board with some flour works so much better than the metal pizza peels I've used in the past. I do want to note that, although the description says "LONG HANDLE" (at the time of writing this review), the handle is certainly not long. If you have a traditional deep, brick pizza oven where you have to rotate the pizza next to a fire, this peel will not be sufficient for you, but if you're using something like an Ooni or another personal pizza oven (or just the oven in your kitchen), I can certainly recommend this. I find it to be a good value for the price, when it comes to both quality and effectiveness.

This honestly feels like one of those hidden gem products that you want to tell everyone about. I'm a big pizza guy and making my own dough from scratch and using a pizza stone/steel is a big part of getting the perfect crust so a good pizza peel is a necessity.This pizza peel not only looks fantastic but the shape and surface texture are perfect. I'm used to pizza peels in this price range from working well but having a more utilitarian approach to design. This peel sacrifices no style points and still works perfect with a resilient surface so you can cut and serve pizza straight from the peel if you choose (you will scratch the peel a bit but no more than a wooden cutting board.) It might be a tad heavy for some as it is made of good quality wood there is enough space on the handle that you can support it with both hands if necessary.This is the kind of product I'd be willing to give as a gift because it really looks that nice. Definitely a hidden gem for pizza lovers.

I have a large Pizza stone that stays in my oven, I use for pizza, bread, biscuits, etc. Getting my pizza and breads up off has never been easier. I love this. I used to use two spatulas and a plate. Now I can just slide this under and cut it directly on the Peel. Highly recommend. It looks great hanging up on the wall too. Beautiful.
