Sam Edelman Women's Gemma Sandal

This is a review of these sandals and also a comparison with a very similar sandal.Sam Edelman Women's Gemma Gladiator Sandal:- Stylish but not quite as stylish as the Vince Camuto Tany. The Tany has style advantage because it's a full gladiator, whereas the Gemma is sort of a partial gladiator. But overall still cute.- Well made; high quality- Dreamy comfortable. I don't know what they did with these straps but it feels like clouds are caressing your feet. I got the caramel color and the straps are suede - not sure if that makes them more comfortable - but there's also a very soft lining. Also the suede laces have a bit of give.- I love how the toe area is shaped to match the shape of actual toes, where the big toe is the longest part. It looks better that way.- Wouldn't mind if the sole were a teensy bit more padded, but I haven't noticed any discomfort so I guess it's enough.- Went down a half size which I usually do in sandals and the fit was good.- Overall, points to this shoe for comfort, and for an excellent comfort-to-style ratio. I am thinking of buying another pair in a different color.Vince Camuto Women's Tany Gladiator Sandal:- Super stylish- Well made, high quality- Not quite as comfortable as they could be. The heel opening feels like it pulls a bit; I'm aware of the straps around my feet. The laces don't have any give.- Went down a half size which I usually do in sandals and the fit was good, with the exception of the point below.- The toe shape doesn't match the shape of actual toes. The longest part of the shoe is in the middle, whereas the longest part of your foot is the big toe (for most people), which creates this effect of too much shoe sticking out in a place where it's not needed. It makes me occasionally stub the front of the shoe. I also found the shoe a bit long for a 5.5.- Overall, points to this shoe for looks.

I only gave these 4 stars just because they need to be ordered 1/2 size up from true US sizing. I generally am always an 8. These are my second pair in an 8.5. I live the look and hopefully comfort of these. They are basically a turquoise color in the blue color I ordered which is exactly what I was hoping for. I also have the red which is an orange red but definitely more red than orange. I get tons of compliments every time I wear the red ones purchased last year. My ONLY concern with these is they did not arrive in a Sam Edalman box as have all Sam Edalmans I own. I have 8 different pairs in 3 styles. You can walkIn these very comfortably all day. At least my red ones and I can see ZERO DIFFERENCE IN FIT OR MAKE but they just came today. I pray they are the real thing. The boxing bothered me. We will see if thecomfort and durability is the same as all of my other Sam Edalman sandals. They can go with a semi dressy dress to cut offs and a t shirt. They are adorable and I highly recommend them just still a little concerned over the box and them being a knock off but the fit is exactly as my previous pr and so is every detail I could note. You can’t gp wrong with these if you just order 1/2 size up. No break in time or anything. I do not have wide feet. Medium width. I do have bunions on the outside of my feet right behind my pinky toes and these hide them and are not irritating to themEither. They are wide enough to accommodate that.

I purchased these for a recent vacation and assumed they would be something I would wear once or twice in the evening. Well, I put them on and they felt and looked so amazing that I wore them the whole trip. They really look great with everything from jeans to dresses, and I was complimented several times on my "cute shoes." Do yourself a favor and buy these shoes. They are on point style-wise and they look fantastic.

I thought these fit true to size. I didn't like the cut of the sole's toe area. It didn't look good with my toes. I also didn't like the bare opening (gap) between the toe strap and the first set of ankle strap. They seemed to be a good quality but I found another pair of gladiator sandals that I liked better.

I love this sandal. It is so freaking amazing. Aesthetically pleasing and super cute. I actually had them in 2017 but Sam Edelman discontinued them and I have been looking for this pair for a while. So happy I found them!!

My friend has these and swears that they are her most comfortable sandals, so I bought a pair. They aren't bad, but the straps are still a little stiff. I'm hoping they loosen up after a few wearings. The footbed is not really padded very much, so I wouldn't wear them for a full day of walking. Very cute though.

I wanted to love these sandals. However, even the wide width is very narrow. Not only are they too narrow, but the sandals make my feet look even wider. Also, there's a weird open space which is too large between the straps that criss cross by the toes and the part where the laces begin. Returning these.

I wear between a 7 and 7 1/2 in shoes and got these in a size 7. I would say they seemed a little snug at the beginning and I was debating about returning them for a larger size but after wearing them around the house, they are comfortable and I like the fit. They are super cute and go with just about anything!

I particularly wanted silver, and this discription stated the shoes were silver, however when the shoes arrived the box stated the shoes were gold! I have contacted the supplier, however I have yet to get answer.

El servicio de entrega fue excelente, incuso llegó el paquete antes de los esperado. Muy buena calidad. No tenía zapatos de esta marca pero tras tantas recomendaciones decidí intentarlo. Si estas entre tallas, toma la talla mas grande. Por ejemplo yo soy 6.5 o 7 en numeración USA, en el caso de este modelo el 7 me quedó perfecto!Todo el corte está hecho en piel.Excelente producto
