![Pyromania (40th Anniversary) [Half-Speed LP]](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81xzufXEa8L.jpg)

Def Leppard's 40th anniversary reissue of Pyromania is being released as a Half-Speed Master 180g LP for the first time, providing a superior vinyl cut for ultimate audio quality. Originally released in 1983, Pyromania launched the band into rock legend status, selling over 10 million copies. Featuring global hit singles "Photograph," "Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)" and "Rock of Ages." In tribute to this milestone, reissue has been executive produced by lead singer Joe Elliott and Ronan McHugh. Review: A Must-Have for Def Leppard Fans - Superior Audio Quality! - I recently purchased the 40th anniversary re-issue of Def Leppard's iconic album, Pyromania, and I must say, I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase. This edition, released as a 180g Half Speed Master for the first time, offers a level of audio quality that surpasses the original AAD CD I own. As a longtime fan of Def Leppard, I appreciate the effort put into this anniversary edition. It's evident that this release was crafted with love and respect for the band's legacy. In conclusion, if you're a Def Leppard fan or a lover of classic rock, I highly recommend adding this 40th anniversary re-issue of Pyromania to your collection. Note: This review is based on the vinyl edition of the album. Review: Best "remaster" I've ever heard! - I loved this album when it came out, but have since lost that vinyl collection decades ago. I know that some people are against "remastering" vinyl, but this one sounds better than what I remember it. (Maybe todays speakers are better too?) I didn't notice any funky tinkering with vocals or making drums or guitars more prominent like other remasters. It is by far the best sounding vinyl I own, next to the Animals remastering of Pink Floyd. Definitely worth the extra cost.

Great Album
Great album that still holds up. Not sure I can hear a difference between the half speed and the original, maybe a bit more defined. Would have been nice to have more of an inner package. No lyrics ect.

DEF LEPPARD's classic, half-speed mastered on a single LP!
DEF LEPPARD's classic 'Pyromania', half-speed mastered on a single LP! Personally, I'm not a fan when record companies take what was originally released as a single LP then reissue it as a double-LP. Sure, they'll say its about audio quality but I'm not that big an expert on it. Nor is there a sizeable difference to these ears. (At least not with my menial stereo set-up.) I think its really just a way to charge the fan/consumer extra. I guess you could say the same about the new trend of half-speed mastering. But at least I CAN actually hear a difference along with the added bonus that they slap it all on a single LP. No getting up & down every 2-3 songs to flip the record! You play it through with the flow that was originally intended by the band when they sequenced the album. So for THIS 'Pyromania' half-speed master release, I jumped. I bypassed the $100 deluxe set and settled nicely for this $30 half-speed copy. (How many times am I gonna listen to demo versions anyway???) And man, am I glad I did. It's the best-sounding copy of 'Pyromania' I'll probably ever own on vinyl. (PLUS, they include that MOST AWESOME UK 'Vertigo' spaceship label as it was originally released in the UK!) Time to crank-up the volume and ROCK ROCK 'TIL I DROP!!! A++++

Glade to have it.
Was never a big fan after this album. I don't know what they were 🤔 oh money!!

Clean recording, small issue with the end of side 2
This is a solid reissue, except there's one issue. The outro of Billy's Got a Gun does not end properly. Instead, it goes into the runout groove where it does not neatly repeat or end, causing a very jarring loop. If they couldn't repeat it properly, they should have ended it before the runout groove. I have a few copies of the older 80s releases and they all end properly, so something changed with this remaster!

Happy, not happy
New album but damaged sleeve. Very strange

Great album, bad sleeve
Great album, but the sleeve had a couple of nasty folds in it. The vinyl has a warp to it, but not to terrible. Really disappointed in the condition to the sleeve

Great addition to your record collection, particularly if you are a fan of Def Leppard! I haven't played it yet and it is unlikely I will. I bought this more for garage art than anything and it excels. Of course it can be played if you choose to and has some timeless classic tunes like Foolin', Photograph. and Rock of Ages. Worth the price of admission to add this great album to your collection.

bonjour plus que satisfait de mon achat; un super son qui respecte l'original, vivant défini avec punch, attaque et surtout un son qui ne flanche pas,pas facile de trouver un très bon pressage comme celui-ci la claque sonore
