Great for Sourdough Starter
I bought this Kilner wide-mouth jar for my sourdough starter, and it’s been brilliant. Perfect for chutneys
Love these jars, they are just the right size for my chutneys. The wide mouth is great for filling, and they sit on top of each other well. Sturdy glass with measuring marks, which is microwave safe. They come well packaged. Will be buying more of these.

Broken jar
The jar came broken in quite few pieces. I reported and received in two days ..I was very impressrd..had no need to send ohotos although I did take few.The jar is really nice and perfect to keep my fudge .

Perfect for sourdough starter
I've never been happy with the jars I have used for my sourdough starter. I've seen YouTube with straight sided jars, but have never seen them in the shops where I live. So this is the first one I've got.I does make it easier to scrape the sides and keep everything clean.I highly recommended the 0.5L size for sourdough starter.

Jar-rific
Why did you choose this product over others?:I purchased 4 of these to store premade drinks mixes in (they hold 2 cups each). They've worked exceptionally well so far (bought them a year ago). As they are tall and slender they fit in narrow spaces very well. The seal seems airtight as I've not experienced any leaks. I don't have a dishwasher so these are washed by hand and I've not had any chips or cracks from banging around in the sink, nor rusting of the lids. I believe these to be a great value for money compared to other contacts/jars I purchased.
