Great product!

I ordered this product because it showed very strong magnets. They’re super weak, not as advertised.

I originally planned to use these shelf dividers with wire shelving in our closet. Unfortunately, the magnets on the bottom are not very strong. You would need a solid metal surface for them to stay up at all. I tried them on top of a file cabinet to see if the solid metal works well enough. They do stand up, but they can easily get knocked over. You'd probably be better off gluing them in place than relying on the magnets.

The Baluue Clear Shelf Dividers are magnetic vs. having adhesive tape which makes these dividers easier to move. I am using these in a mesh/metal toy box in my office to hold seasonal work. I am going to add some stronger magnets since the metal mesh is not holding these dividers as strongly as I’d like, but that is not the fault of the dividers since I’m using these in a manner not contemplated by the design.The dividers are plastic and come with a film covering the side without the magnet which helped keep the plastic from being scratched during shipping. The dividers and magnets attached are uniform in size and fit inside the box I’m going to be using. I’ve used larger metal magnetic dividers inside file cabinets in the past, and I am attempting to recreate that with these smaller plastic dividers and a roll around metal mesh box for extremely temporary storage.If your shelf is not metal, these dividers won’t stand up by themselves, so keep that in mind. They are also not very thick plastic, which is expected as they are just meant to partition space. They will hold some tilted, oversized articles on a short-term basis as is shown in the picture. I have 3 dividers in 1/2 the box and one of those is holding my 1st Gen iPad Pro in its case (over 5 lbs).Shipping was fast, quality is as expected, price point is appropriate for the product. These will definitely get me through my busy season this year, and if my “created” solution for staging my backlog of work is successful, I expect I’ll bring these back each year.If it is remarkable, good or bad, I’ll update my review.

FlimsyBefore getting these, I read the details carefully. Nowhere did they say you needed to have metal shelves, so I figured there must be a strong magnet that fits under the shelf to keep the divider in place. Plus, they did show some round colorful magnets attaching to these, so maybe those came with it. But no! There is no extra magnets. If you want these for something other than metal shelves, forget it. Now, even if I had the correct shelves, I would still not give more than one star. These are flimsy and the magnet is not that strong. I did try them on a metal surface and yes, they do stick but if there is any pressure on the top half of the divider, they will move, fall, or become disengaged. The plastic is paper thin so even if you get them to stick to something they don't provide any support. Cheap and useless.

These are good for paper, but the divider is too thin and flexible for files or any significant weight. Magnet is a little too weak too. If you’re just trying to separate papers and you have something rigid at either end of your file rack these will work. If you’re hoping to use these to make a file rack on top of a cabinet, then they may not do what you need.

Using this to divide up bulk foods, teas, and my sock drawer. It’s definitely not that magnetic. However, the dividers are tall. If you don’t move stuff around that much, they’ll serve a purpose. I think they could be cheaper than $23.00.

I wanted these dividers to help sort my cookie sheets & muffin pans in the cabinet, and they work great. Just peel off the backing and place on the cabinet, wait a bit for the glue to set and you are good to go. I was really pleased at how such a small item could help sort the kitchen cabinet.
