I used these to replace the light bulbs on either side of the vanity mirrors on my car. Easy to install. You might have to turn them around after installing if they don't light as they are polarized. I'd recommend them.

I've been replacing the original glass / filament bulbs in my older cars with LED lights wherever it's easy to access them. The pic shows the result in the trunk of a 2006 Lexus ES330, although I don't have a before / after pic. I did have an LED with two elements and this location, and now with three elements the brightness level is, you guessed it, a third brighter. It's also whiter. I've done this with door courtesy lights and other interior lights, back-up lights, etc. The hard part is finding the correct replacement size and connector. This one uses the glass fuse type connector, but elsewhere in the same car I needed the "torpedo" type. The best approach is to pull the bulb you want to replace to see the size and type you'll need, rather than try to match up product numbers. Haven't done comparison shopping so can't speak to retail value.
