I love the packaging and value—this tea feels high-quality and is reasonably priced. I bought it for DIY hair care, but recently tried it as a tea and was pleasantly surprised. Mixed with honey, it has a cozy, soothing flavor. As someone recovering from a recent respiratory illness, the mucilage provided a comforting coating for my raw, raspy throat. It thickens the longer it steeps, which can look unusual if you’re not used to it, but that gelatinous consistency is exactly why I’m excited to use it for hair care—it should give excellent slip for finger detangling.
