About as ideal as you can get - JUST RIGHT!
This keyboard is not fancy; not a lot of bells and whistles, but it is also not basic. Just an amazingly functional and comfortable everyday driver. It is attractive in a minimalistic sort of way, including excellent WHITE backlighting that rivals the keyboard on my MacBook Pro's built-in keyboard. I never have trouble seeing the key legends in the dark - not too bright, not too dark. The feel is a nice compromise between a linear smooth-action switch and a brown switch with a very slight "bump" at about half way through the travel. It isn't quite silent, but it is not loud either. A comforting "thock thock" sound coupled with the tactile bump makes this the most accurate keyboard I've ever used. And build quality is good - it isn't a tank, but it doesn't feel cheap either. Again, the whole package is "just right". A highly recommended, handsome workhorse.

The best keyboard I've ever used /worth the $$
I absolutely love this keyboard. I was fortunate enough to use one that my coworker had purchased and it's perfect. (He had tried multiple keyboards before he landed on this one). Just the right amount of key clack and the backlight really helps as well. Great options for connecting by USB-C, FOB, or Bluetooth. I prefer the FOB and it works well. I tried Bluetooth first and it worked well until I let the battery die and then I lost connectivity temporarily during a meeting, so I've used the FOB since then. The battery lasts me a week usually, But I recharge it every Friday after work and its ready for the next week. I can't say enough about this product. Yes, its not cheap, but quality is never cheap and you get quality in this keyboard... hope this helps you if you are concerned about the price and value.

No nonsense quality wireless keyboard
Works well, no need for drivers and no automatic bloatware install. I love that. It connects quickly and has good features to save power, such as turning off the backlight after inactivity. The keys have nice feedback and are comfortable to use for longer periods. The key switches are like brown switches and provide feedback with low noise and average weight. The build quality is good, they used metal on the frame, which feels sturdy. It has a luxurious feel to it. My only issue with it is the placement of the backlight button. It is next to the backspace/delete button. If pressed by accident you need to press it a dozen more times to get back to the setting it was on.

Highly recommend - but with nuances...
I seriously like this keyboard. I think it was very well thought out, designed, and built. I use it switching between an HP laptop (windows 11) and a 2019 Macbook Pro (Sequoia) with the touch of a single button. Flawless. The keys are 'clicky' but not 'slappy' if that makes any sense. I have no complaints about the battery life. Overall, I would buy this keyboard again, and recommend it to anyone. That said, and the reason(s) for 4 instead of 5 stars, are as follows: 1.) Lower corner edge keys (Cntrl) could use a 'bumper' or raised 'notch' to keep from accidentally keying these with the sides of you hand. Satechi has done a wonderful job maximizing the available footprint of this device, but with those corner keys mildly exposed per se - you can easily find yourself pressing Cntrl + (who knows?) what. If you're aware of this then it's no big deal, but could be tweaked in future iterations. 2.) Keystroke resistance. this device is great to work with however the actual resistance is a a shade to the light side (for my personal taste). There's great feedback from the keys etc. but I find it just a bit 'too' easy for my [optimal/desired] taste and prone to 'collateral keystrokes' if I'm not paying attention. Maybe it's just my sloppy hand positioning. 3.) Key backlighting. The backlighting works great with no dark or areas that I've seen. While the whole 'light show' patterns available are nice - they're not exactly practical. I either want backlighting off, or on (yet dimmable - which this keyboard does). The whole scrolling though star wars light show patterns to get to my steady on mode does nothing for me. So the combination of those minor factors cost this review a star. Hope this review helps anyone considering a purchase. Again - I highly recommend this keyboard. Just know there's a few (potential) nuances you may or may not appreciate.

Great value for the money
Awesome quality keyboard. The build feels premium, has a nice weight to it. Also the backlighting is a nice touch. Battery life is good. The actual sound of the key switches is nice not to loud. All in all great value for the money, I would purchase again.

Satisfying - Solid Product
I love this thing. The clack, clack, clack. The weight of the keys helps me type faster and more accurately. I learned to type in high school on an IBM electric typewriter so maybe that is why it is so familiar. I bought one after sitting at a collegues desk to type up a contract on his computer and he had one. I immediately was able to type accurately and fast. When I usually type on someone else's keyboard I am not familiar with it is a disaster. This time not the case. have had this for six months and really enjoy it. I pound on this keyboard for hours a day and it holds up. Very durable so far.

Do Buy!
This is legit in my opinion the best keyboard for macbook if you're working in clamp mode: 1. basically, the keyboard obeys the macbook layout, while the caps are mechanic instead of the falt mac feeling 2. the keys are sturdy and lighting is superb 3. it is bluetooth, and supports i think a usb-insert option 4. the letters on the caps are very well printed, readable, and have high quality as someone who has owned logitech, razor, and various keyboards, and as somehow who very, very, rarely leaves a review, this is a review that i actively decided to leave since I think this is actually much better than many keyboards that are being currently advertised.

Nice keyboard, full of features, but easy to make typing mistakes for some reason.
The keys have a satisfying click to them, but I find myself making more typing mistakes than with my older keyboards. Also, the keys go right to the edge. Making it really easy to bump on keys near the edges (like the return key on the bottom right, the space bar, or the tab, shift-lock, shift or control keys. Other keyboards have palm rests and other base elements that separate the keys from stuff on my desktop. The light show is fun, but kind of distracting.
