I bought this over the years from the grocer and paid more. It's a nice evening tea for relaxation. It taste sgood.

For some reason in my late 30’s I started using a sleeping aid and now in my 50’s I can’t fall asleep without it. In order to try and kick the habit I started looking into more natural, organic supplements to help me fall asleep and decided to try melatonin. Melatonin is more natural than say Unisom however they give me the weirdest dreams so I stopped that. I came across Sleepytime tea years ago and might have used it but I forgot the experience so when I came across one that advertised “Sleepytime Extra” and that it promotes relaxation and includes valerian root I decided why not? I was a little leery about the effects of valerian root because I thought it might also give me weird dreams. However after being on this tea for over a year I can wholeheartedly recommend this tea for those who like me can’t sleep without an aid or who like me as soon as their head hits the pillow, their mind is churning and too anxious to relax. This tea has such a soothing effect on me. Do I still use a sleep aid? Yes but there are some days where I just use the tea and now I know that I can eventually wean myself off this dependence on sleeping pills. Buy a box and try it and I guarantee you will be like me…….buying in bulk. Oh by the way it also has a distinct taste that is so pleasing and you can drink it with or without sugar or milk.
