I recently purchased a Chromebook which only has one USB port. I took this adapter out of the box plugged into my USB port and immediately plugged in a mouse, an SD card reader an external hard drive and a memory stick. Every thing work perfectly, immediately. I am very very pleased.

Good USB multi-socket adapter
Recently purchased a new laptop which only fitted with 2 USB sockets. Need additional so this adaptor a great solution.

Works Perfectly...
This product works as expected for a usb hub without any additional power needed. I tried all 4 sockets simultaneously and they appeared in windows file explorer as expected. I didn't note data transfer speeds but seemed fine copying files and playing movies. The main reason I bought this hub was for the additional usb power. The usb's on my pc only provide 5v 2.5 watts of power, this isnt enough for my portable hard drives. So into the usb c port I've connected a 20 watt phone charger. You may need a more powerful charger if you intend to run 4 HDD's. This has solved my HDD problem. This is a five star product considering that the price is very reasonable however I've docked one star as the sockets are too close together to allow my two kingston data traveller usb sticks to be side by side (a minor point really).....

Does the job! I can now link my printer to the laptop without having to unplug something else from it.

Good connections. Never a problem.
Had this for a few months now. Good connections. Never a problem. With hindsight, I wish I had purchased with a few more ports as there is always something else to be plugged in.

can plug USB stuff into it :thumbs_up:
you dont need this just sort out your usb ports on your pc buddy this isnt gonna fix your lack of ports but make it worse
