Disney Toy Story Buzz Lightyear Talking Action Figure

The media could not be loaded. It has a couple of minor issues, but this is still the best Buzz Lightyear available, in my opinion, and the closest to the movie version.It does everything my child wants it to do:-The laser works.- The helmet opens via a button on the side and clicks closed.- The little control panel on his arm opens up and has the same sticker inside.- All three voice buttons work, and use the original phrases. Some of the voice clips are unusually long for a toy (and yes, he says "To infinity and beyond!").- He has karate chop action.- His wings open up in exactly the same way as the movies.- He has "Andy" written on his foot.He is a full-sized figure and very sturdy (my 3 year old puts that to the test). He's a little on the heavy side, so keep that in mind in case your child is really young.The only complaints I have about it are that the stickers were applied kind of haphazardly, and were already lifted in some places right out of the box. Also, the button to eject the wings is pretty hard to press, and my kid can only get it done by placing it on the ground and putting his weight into it.The lights on the wings work about half the time. I had read in the reviews that this was a common issue, so I was expecting it.Overall, this toy is excellent quality, the price is great (currently $32), and it has been a major hit at our house. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

My 2yr old was fervently and consistently asking for a buzz. He’s obsessed with the movies.We got this for him and he LOVES IT. It’s just like the buzz in the movies, and very durable for being handled by a 2yr old with no restraint lol.Definitely worth the buy, your little will love it!

Absolutely perfect and exactly what my son wanted. My son had one big Christmas wish. A real buzz light year. So after alot of research this seemed like the best one despite some reviews saying that received a different one. The buzz we received was exactly as pictured. It arrived in a space ship box. The voice is tim allen, has karate shop, laser, retractable helmet, and pop out wings. Andy is also written on his foot. I couldn't be happier with it and my son was so happy to receive on Christmas morning. I 100% recommend this toy. Definitely worth the $33! Heck I would have spent more if it was more expensive.

Absolutely love this toy! Okay, so I'm an adult who watched the original Toy Story as a kid and have always been a huge fan. Now that my little ones are 5 and 2 and enjoy Toy Story as well, I was hoping to find a match to a Woody doll we have. This far exceeded my expectations. Unlike the Woody doll which still deviates from the original concept (despite it being the most realistic version I had found to date), Buzz Lightyear only deviates in that he says things from the movies themselves and not just the pre-programmed ones we were introduced too (and I haven't found the Spanish setting). But there is so much more:This toy is made out of HIGH QUALITY plastic. I was expecting it to be much lighter and easier to break. Despite the toy having knee, finger, shoulder, elbow, and hip joints, as well as being able to stand, it does not feel like it will be easily destroyed by my two boys. The cover on Buzz's arm that flips open is probably the most precarious part and even it is think and made well. I'm not nearly as concerned about it breaking as I was when I first saw it actually opened.PROS:- Rugged, well made- Does ALL the things Buzz does (as a toy) in the original movie- Stands on it’s own- Box is also true to the movieCONS:- It is a little hard to press the release button for the wings. HOWEVER, this is part of the durability of the toy. If my kids have to work on their motor skills and hand strength to do it themselves, I’m okay with that. My 5 year old can do it, but 3 year old is still learning.If played with the way my children do, this is a toy that could very well become a beloved heirloom for their children and I LOVE that.

I collect Toy Story items and I have searched and tested several Buzz Light Years. This one is made by Disney, and I chose to get it from amazon instead of waiting on Disney and have to pay for shipping. I can say that this Buzz is so much better than the recent Woody doll put out by Disney. This Buzz has all the phrases!! We just love him. The voice is spot on.He arrived and I noticed one of the blinking lights on his wing wasn’t working, but I anticipated this because the reviews on Disney’s website for Buzz mentioned this as an issue. His lights go out, but that’s fine. He looks awesome, and he stands very well on his own.He is also the proper size ratio to woody and Jessie. See how he is shorter than Jessie on my shelf? Jessie is a Signature collectors item. My boy also loves playing with Buzz since he is very interactive. Now I will say he has not “interacted” with the woody doll. This was advertised online but I do not see them talking to each other or any of those things. But I’m fine with that, because honestly, I don’t want to believe that my toys are listening to the noise and conversation around them haha!

This toy has so many great sayings from the Toy story movie. I bought for my nephew but really considered buying one for our house. The wings flip out, he has a flip up meter on his arm, laser lights up, shield flips up and down and ours came in the adorable cardboard spaceship packaging. I will say, there was some paint transfer and some general scratches that made me question if it was a return, but being so close to Christmas I didn’t want to hassle with a replacement.

Very happy! Haven’t taken it out of the box yet but just knowing it is the real thing from Disney made me so happy. Was a bit nervous not receiving a tracking number. But it showed up the day it was suppose to.
