Exact fit and easy
If your electronics are good, this is a great option to renew the fob. Not worth jury rigging a temporary repair that looks cheap on your old fob. Was so easy to swap everything over and have a like new fob for less than $7. It's less than $7. I did not notice the buttons were too soft but nothing prevents you from using the original buttons from your old fob. My goal was to fix the broken key ring and that it did.

Perfect
Bought for a friend. He went to a car dealer and they didn’t carry this. He went to another dealer and they had one but told him a quote of over $200. I paid under $7 and changed it out within a minute. Having not looked online for the instructions nor having done one before, if I can do it, you can do it. Super easy to use. Gave him his key fob back and when he gets home he will test it.

2004 Toyota Key Fab replacement
Great key shell replacement for a 2004 Toyota 4Runner. Just use your existing key chip part and place in the new shell. All the buttons work great and feels brand new from the manufacture.

Locks and Unlocks in your pocket
Rubber keys stick out more than the original and set off the lock or unlock if it rubs or touches inside your pocket, the key itself - it is constantly locking and unlocking from inside the building if I have my keys in my pocket or backpack - not good! Unfortunately did not return in time. Will try another
