Worked as advertised.
I watched several Youtube videos on how to repair a GE fridge, about 10yrs old, where both the fridge and freezer side were not keeping set temps. The fridge was too warm and the freezer was too cold. Most if not all videos claimed this little thermoster in the lower freezer (there are 2 in the freezer, one lower, one higher and one in the fridge side) was the culprit 99% of the time. The package arrived in like 2 days. I followed the instructions on the videos and had the part replaced in less than a 1/2hr. Granted, we had unplugged the fridge and allowed it to completely defrost. I did this in the late morning and the fridge/freezer were fully functioning by evening. It's been about 2 weeks and working perfectly. Very happy as this probably saved several hundred dollars in a repair job or way more if we had replaced the fridge/freezer. Thanks.

Common Fail in GE Profile
Common failure on GE Profile Refrigerator/Freezers. GE website costs more, charges shipping. This product was listed to fit my model. I received it-installed it and it works as it should. There are three in my ref/freezer, 1 in freezer, 2 in refrigerator. I replaced the one in the freezer first-still monitoring to see if that fixes the problem. But-price is right for the trying the simplest solution first. So-I ordered two more-they're on the way.

Do Not Buy These
These sensors are junk, do not buy they are all faulty, upon testing they are all faulty All sensors were tested and the ohm reading are all off. Do yourself a favor and order the GE sensor These sensor made a simple fix very difficult as all sensors had to be cross checked for accuracy

Saved potentially a couple of thousand dollars
OMG! This part saved up a couple of hundred dollars. Given we were about to by a new fridge since we had our GE Cafe since 2010, we save a couple thousand. And my teenage daughter jumped in and helped using YouTube since my big ass couldn't get into the space to tighten the wire connectors.

Great product!
My refrigerator was warm and my freezer was frozen. The thermostat Sensor needed to be replaced. This fit my refrigerator and it seems like it will replace any refrigerator that has the same kind of thermostat sensor. I replaced the thermostat sensor and the next morning my refrigerator was back to normal. Love this product. It was pretty simple to replace. Just need to know how to strip and connect wires. Plenty of YouTube videos for this. Oh and it give plenty of wire just in case you mess up.
