This item has helped me a great deal, I would have given five stars if the handles on the device were about 3 inches longer to make it easier to use for me at least when bending over to pull on the sock. If the back of your calves are fatter than cup at the back or the device when you slide your foot in the will end up behind your legs making it difficult to grab and hold on to during the process. This is a personal problem for me as I’m overweight if you are skinny this might not be an issue for you. I found it helpful to place against a wall to start with while standing and stepping into the sock thin lifting the device about third up my legs worked well for me then pull the rest of the way up by hand.

This aid is wonderful. It takes some practice but my 92 yo husband has it down Pat.

Completely worthless for a 75-year-old woman who lacks the strength to pull the support hose over the holder. The bizarro video shows a 20-something woman demonstrating using it. Let's get real! How many people that age need support hose. Show me a post-surgical old woman using it, and it might be more credible. Save yourself the money and the time returning it, and don't buy it.

I’ve worn compression socks for over a year. Being 91 years and with limited mobility I couldn’t get those socks on by myself. My partner would put them on me. I checked on Amazon on the off chance there was some tool that might be helpful.What a blessing when I came across this product! I checked the video on the Amazon website once more then tried it out. It is the easiest thing I’ve ever used. Those socks slipped over my feet and up my legs just as smooth as butter. This product is perfect in my opinion…..

It does not work well on compression socks. I wear xxl compression socks and it is difficult to get sock on apparatus and it does not pull sock up all the way
