Carles Puyol began his soccer career in his hometown team, La Pobla de Segur. Over the years showed that he had a lot of projection and joined the 95-96 soccer season at Barca. He soon became one of the basic parts of Barca B and on October 2, 1999, he fulfilled his debut. Since then, Puyol appearances became regularly to the point of becoming the right back position.
