Kraft NotCo Original Flavor Plant Based Mac & Cheese, 6 oz Box

So everyone in my house is lactose intolerant. It can be such a bummer. Even more so when one member is autistic and absolutely adores Mac and cheese! When I saw Kraft came out with the dairy free stuff. I snatched these up so fast. These make just like the original and are honestly just as good. It has the same consistency, smell and is just a little sweeter than the original! It makes dinners a breeze. My only complaint would be there is less overall in the box compared to normal dairy versions. I'm willing to over look that part considering how good it is.

Best vegan mac and cheese I’ve ever had. I got the original flavor - love that there aren’t artificial dyes etc. I used regular soy milk and regretted it because it did make it a hit sweet and had to balance that out - make sure you only use unsweetened plant milk and salted plant butter and you’ll be golden. Powder looks pale, almost white, but end result had a lovely orange cheddar color when it was mixed in.

I made this exactly according to the directions and it was a little too oily, it was mostly butter flavor. So when I repurchase it, I'll make it with less butter. Other than that it tasted great, I never grew up eating this so it's my first time trying it and I was happy that it wasn't too salty. I just assumed it was mostly gonna be salt, but it was very balanced and an excellent side dish to my baked potato and Juicy Marbles steak.

As a dairy-free person, I am always looking for dairy alternatives and stumbled across this kraft mac and cheese on Amazon and was super excited to try it! I used to love kraft mac and cheese when I was younger and was hoping that this would taste the same, but it did not. Not at all. It's very very sweet and smells like candy, not even kidding haha! But, it does mix well and was very quick and easy to prepare. Overall, I will not be purchasing this again but I am glad I tried it! I recommend annies vegan mac over this brand if you are looking for that cheesy taste.

I don’t often write reviews for products that I buy, but this one necessitates a review from me. I’ve eaten dairy free for many years due to a dairy allergy, and I’ve eaten many, many, MANY dairy substitute foods for almost 2 decades. I was incredibly excited to try Kraft dairy free Mac and cheese, as I grew up eating the original blue and yellow box as a dairy eating child. This substitute is hands down, the worst dairy free Mac and cheese I’ve ever tasted. I canNOT believe that Kraft would produce such a flat and empty tasting product, when their original has such an amazing flavor. I ordered 2 boxes for my son at the same time that I bought my own. His opinion (without knowing my prior opinion) is the same as mine. It is awful. We both threw away our extra boxes. I will not repurchase Kraft; I’ll stick with Annie’s or Daiya df boxed Mac and cheese. Don’t waste your money.

It tastes almost like regular macaroni and cheese. The price is a bit much though.

Got this to try with my lactose allergy kiddo and I personally don't mind it, my kiddo loves it! The smell is definitely, strong but smells like cheese, but not like the regular kraft if that makes sense. Also seems to be a bit creamer than the original, but it tasted good and is a great option for dairy intolerant/allergy people and myself with acid reflux (when used with lactaid and plant butter).Plus you make it exactly the same way and same amount of time as the original, just using plant based/dairy free options instead for the milk and butter. Same size box as the original as well.

Taste very close to real thing! I use Miyoko’s vegan butter and plain ripple milk. I also add a touch of salt and bingo bango taste like regular Kraft Mac N Cheese.
