I have many very expensive guitar cables, and I'm not going to pretend these are as good as my best ones, but they're not bad either and I'd be happy to use them in a number of scenarios.Visually they look professional and the braided outer sheath is smart. The jack plugs are extra-slim, slimmer than expected, and fit into tightly packed areas with ease. Flexibility is good, the braid does make them a little stiffer than an un-braided one but they're still not bad.Quality-wise I cut apart both jacks and cable: The cable has a nice thick outer rubber sheath and the inner core also has a conductive rubber sheath under the spiral wound screen. This is, in my opinion, the ideal. The jacks are the standard budget crimped style, but have a thermoplastic filler applied over the soldered areas along with a heat-shrink outer. Both these things add some extra protection when pulling, and if you do ever need to re-solder these then the thermoplastic layer cuts away easily to reveal a normal solder joint, which is great news. I was happy to see this.I probably wouldn't use these as a guitar lead, I'd always spend more on that because it's a critical area, but these are definitely a big step-up from the cheap moulded sorts and I'd happily use them in any other area of the signal chain. Either on a larger pedalboard, as a send-return from my amp, or to hook up a stereo mixer to something else. They're largely noise free and sound clear without crackle or tone loss.

These aren't the best guitar leads I've ever used, but they're the best for the price! I help run a community radio station and we have a number of live performers come in. You wouldn't believe how many of them turn up without guitar leads (or plectrums, more on that later). So it's very handy to have a set of leads available.I've got some expensive guitar leads that these aren't quite as good as, but for their price, they can't be beaten. Cables like these often get kicked around on the floor and generally abused, so I'm pleased with the solid construction. They feel like they're going to last pretty well.Oh and they come with some plectrums. That was a welcome bonus. As I said, it's amazing how often guitarists turn up without a plectrum, so I have to keep a box in the station. These aren't the best picks in the world, but I find the ones I lend out don't tend to come back, so I'm happy to have these.

As a musician, I’ve had more than my fair share of cables!This is a nicely constructed cable, and has suited the specific needs for which I bought it - that being just playing solo directly connected to a device and using headphones. No issues so far.The first cable I EVER purchased is still working 30+ years later, but I also have bought cables that crapped out in less than a month! I will update if issues arise.
