Nice self-watering pot!
This is a nice self-watering planter. I’d been using another brand for years, but a lot of their products have shifted to pot holders, which means the plants have to stay in the plastic nursery pots rather than getting repotted. This is a much cheaper option that also makes the repotting possible, and they’re also lighter and look great. This one has a removable plastic liner for the plant, so I assume it could switch from one pot to another with ease. That also makes it easy to see the water reservoir and keep it clean. Time will tell how well the plants do, but so far so good!

Self watering!
I never knew for sure if I was under watering or over watering my plants. But ever sense I have bought myself self watering planters and also come in numerous sizes. I do not have to worry about how much water to give or not to give my plants. All you have to do is put the correct soil in the planter. In one of my planters I have an African violet which I could never get to blossom. But sense I only use the self watering planters my purple violet is full of buds and has three blossoms on it also. This is the first time I have ever gotten them to blossom. So after placing the correct soil in my planter along with your plant, plus I give it African violet plant food. The correct soil makes a big difference. Then all you have to do is pour water in the one corner until a little straw starts to rise. When it reaches to top of the tiny dome in the one corner of a self watering planter. That’s it. Then when the straw drops down to the bottom of the tiny dome all you do it pour more water in it until the tiny straw reaches the top again. I think it lasts at least a week or maybe more before you have to put water back in it again.I have never You never have to water from the top. But I do use a two light growing lights over it because especially in our winters in Wi the sun does not shine any where as much as we would like. So for this reason it is best to put grow lights over your plant and in summer a bright sun light can burn the African violet leaves. For African violets I put a little coffee grounds on the top of the soil because coffee grounds are acidic and African violets like an acidity soil.So especially for people that can never grow anything try these self watering planters. For me it’s made a world of difference to whether my plants do poorly or great. Good luck! They truly are worth the money.

Get it!
I have the lechuza pot (11 in) but needed one a little bigger and dish want to spend that kind of money again. After reading reviews on this, i took the plunge and am SO HAPPY i did. This pot is gorgeous. I actually like it soooo much better than my lechuza. This has wheels to move easily, the lechuza does not. This inner pot comes out with easy to grip handles and the lechuza classico does not. The shape of this is actually nicer and looks just as expensive. This was also packaged way nicer than thr lechuza. I will be buying these again for all future needs.

Very Easy Assembly
The fact that this is my second purchase of this self-watering planter says a lot. Right? It comes ready to use, right out of the packaging, and is very easy to assemble. The water level indicator comes with the display gauge already attached. You only need to insert the float, attach the bottom piece, and insert the assembly into the opening at the top of the inner chamber. That’s it! You’re ready to add your soil and plant of choice. I lined the bottom of the insert with pon from my supplies, because no substrate is included, as with a similarly-designed brand. The color (Smoky Gray) of the outer pot blends well with my decor. I’m very pleased with this planter.

Great for its size and price
Recently repotted nearly 100 plants over to self watering planters, and tested a variety of planters in different shapes, styles, and self watering methods. For its size, this is one of the better planters I've found. The larger the self watering planter, the less quality options I've found (unless you're willing to pay more for something like Lechuza). At its size and price, I absolutely do recommend this product! The self watering feature works great, and helps reduce the watering frequency significantly once the planted has rooted in well enough. However, if you can manage with a slightly smaller planter size, there are some really good multi packs available that work just as well but for a significantly cheaper price per planter. As such I tend to stick to the smaller packs, and only use this for my larger plants that won't fit in any of the smaller options.

Solid construction, self waterer works perfectly
Great product at a good price. The wheels underneath are very handy because the weight when filled with soil and tree is hefty.

Easy to assemble
This planter is lightweight, beautiful, and easy to assemble. The main reason I ordered this is because of the built in wheels. I needed something that is easy to move. Two wheels move easily but two other wheels are stuck. My husband pried them off and filed down the sides so they would move more freely. They work a little better but not as wheels should. I rate this a 3 because it is too expensive to have problems.
