So far, so good.
I have a beautiful cleansing balm from this band and I was looking for a retinol based night cream - so I thought I'd give this one a try. It's great quality for money, and it feels very luxurious to use each night over a serum. My skin feels super moisturised and hydrated after use. Four stars just because I haven't seen any major improvement in any fine lines or any other visible benefits - but as far as a quality for money face cream goes, it's a great buy and id happily continue to purchase it, especially I begin to see some benefits longer term.

Feels indulgently moisturising
Love that this contains retinol in a luscious cream. Feels lovely to put on and easy to apply. Smell is very faint but fine. Love this brand as cruelty free though little on the pricier side for relatively small jar. Feels indulgent and good quality. Certainly moisturising but unsure if effective for wrinkles yet and using nightly for 4 months or so. But I have it on repeat order so would definitely recommend.

Non-greasy Retinol
I typically use the Ordinary retinol which is an oil formulation, this Super Facialist formula is in a light non-greasy cream form. It spreads very well and doesn't weigh on the skin at all. It has quite a prominent perfume scent which may put some off. As with all retinol you apply before your routine night moisturiser but this being in cream form you need to remember that the purpose is not to moisturise so don't use more than the stated pea-sized amount in attempt to feel moisture- because it's not there. I've just started using so cannot comment on the results but I do like the application.

Sheer and Gentle. Deep moisturiser.
Some products give me stingy eyes 👀 but this overnight moisturiser is gentle yet highly nourishing. Will definitely be purchasing again. Big fan of Retinol. 🌝

Hoping for Reduction in Dark Spots with Continued Use
I trust the Super Facialist brand as I've been using their products for many years. I've always found them to be effective, gentle, and I love that they're ethical and not animal tested. I am in my fifties and have plenty of wrinkles that I would like to disappear and therefore I was eager to try this potent Retinol cream. I was however, disappointed that the instructions recommend avoiding the areas around your eyes and lips. These are the main problem areas where the lines and wrinkles have appeared, so why would I want to spread it over the rest of my face which I'm much less concerned about? The only reason I'm continuing with the treatment is because it claims to reduce the appearance of pigmentation, and at my age, I'm also starting see age spots and dark patches on my skin and I'm hoping that it will work on those. Of course, this isn't something that will happen overnight so I will have to keep using it and wait to see the results. I would be very happy if my face is smooth and glowing in a few weeks time. The tube is quite small given that this isn't an eye cream and dabbing a pea sized amount into my cheeks doesn't seem like there's enough to spread around. I will have to concentrate on those problematic patches. It is a bit tingly on my skin and it feels a little harsh. I can understand why they say to not use it if you have sensitivity. I am prone to reactions, but I haven't had anything adverse happen, just it is very drying, makes my skin look red and I feel that my face needs additional nourishment and moisturising since I've been using it.So far, the jury is out.

Interesting serum combo
I thought this was pretty cool because I've only seen bakuchiol and retinol separately where bakuchiol is touted as an alternative to retinol (though scientifically it's not - I did research). But to marry both of these actives is interesting because both work different to renew the skin. Retinol for increasing cell turnover and bakuchiol is meant to calm the skin while helping with wrinkle reduction. I found this serum easy to use and I tolerated it well x
