Keeps the mouse from slipping and makes sure any crumbs from a working lunch get collected on the mat not on the table. Doesn’t keep the mouse from skipping when encountering working lunch crumbs however.

Love the print on it. It is beautiful and brightly colored. The non-slip texture on the back works well. No complaints from here. Understand that if you get one that has white on the edges, it will get dirty, and they can be difficult to clean.

This mousepad is large and fits the bill for a good-sized mat that you can keep your keyboard on as well.This is not quite the mousepad I was expecting though and here's why:The material is definitely different from your standard pad. This is not neoprene. It's a leather-like material. It's definitely a little stiffer and doesn't immediately conform to your desktop like rolled neoprene does. Mine still has a little of a curl at the end from being rolled up for shipping that hopefully will settle after a few days. That being said, it is waterproof, and that is a nice upgrade considering that I usually eat at my desk and I'm constantly dropping food and drink on it.The edges have nice stitching and the back is rubber that grips your desktop well so it doesn't slip around at all and my mouse tracks well on it.My biggest gripe is the artwork. I picked the fantasy forest design for something different and I'm a little disappointed to find that it's just AI imaging. I suppose that's my fault for not taking a closer look at the actual listing before picking the mat, because the pictures are very accurate to the delivered product. I'm just not a huge fan of AI imaging and feel it takes a good product like this and cheapens it a bit.I'm overall pleased, but I'd like to see a mat like this with actual licensed artwork.

I have the LYNN PICK’N PLAY Mouse Mat in the Luxury Marble White style. At 31 × 15.75 inches, it is a bit smaller than my previous mouse mat (35.5 x 15.75 inches). It's still big enough for my oversized split keyboard with a separate keypad and leaves enough room to operate my mouse. It is probably the best-looking mouse mat I have had.I'm a lazy mouser in that I drag the outer palm of my hand across the mouse mat. When I first looked at the LYNN PICK’N PLAY mouse mat, I was concerned that it was too thin and my palm would get uncomfortable. However, because the top surface is made from PU leather (polyurethane leather) rather than neoprene, it is stiffer than my previous mouse mats. That lets it be thinner but still comfortable. It also seems a bit "slicker" than my previous mats and lets my hand move easier. I've tested the mat with several games for hours and found it very frictionless.
