Owned 6 months so far - Outstanding!
It's been over 6 months since I purchased the Aria stand light, and I haven't regretted a penny spent. The brightness goes all the way down, but on the lowest setting still illuminates the music evenly. It gets bright enough to practically light up the room, should you need it to, and I've found the battery lasts an amazingly long time between charges. (I think I've charged it twice in the 6 months I've owned it, using the light around 4 hours a week!) It holds well to the stand and is constructed well, so it feels solid - not at all wobbly or flimsy.I was skeptical about paying over a hundred dollars for an LED strip light, but knowing what I know now I'd buy it again in a heartbeat, and recommend everyone looking for a stand light to do the same.

This is the music stand light that you most definitely need!
I have tried almost every music stand light out there. LED lighting was a good and neccessary step in the volution of music stand lighting. The lights I have already tried are truly a mixed bag. I've had single lights where the beam shines on the entire music, and duo lights (antennae lighting) where you can direct one light to one part of the music, and another light to somewhere else. However, with many of these cheap lights, you get what you pay for. I constantly had to adjust the light's clamp on my Manhasset stand. Whenever I add music to the stand, the light clamp shudders, and I have to readjust it. In a performance situation, there are enough things going on that you don't need the music light demanding your attention.I used rechargeable batteries, but that means having a pocketful of batteries, and 1. removing the light from the stand, popping off the light's cover, removing the old batteries, keeping them in a separate place from the multiple fresh batteries you're probably carrying, putting the light back on the stand, struggling to make the clamp fit right----aaargh.Enter Aria! OMG. Right out of the box the light makes sense. Two solid clips, and it's on your stand - and it stays there until you remove it. It doesn't move when the stand moves. *You can actually adjust the light with the dial* - Wow! Other music lights *might* have two settings, and they have hard-to-use buttons - when you press them, the beam of light gets changed, so you have to use both hands, one to turn the light on, and the other to stabilize the light! The Aria light affords you multiple settings - dial in just the amount of light you need for the moment at hand. Plus, you can recharge it easily and allows you to use the light many hours before requiring another charge. The other stands? 20-30 dollars. Aria? about 150 dollars - but it's SO WORTH IT. I read all the other reviews here before buying one, and I'm glad I did. You'll be glad too...you can get back to the most important activity - making music!

You deserve the best
I had put off buying one of these because of the price. But when it came time to replace yet another gooseneck style stand light I decided to splurge. I’m so glad I did. It washes your music evenly with the perfect amount of light without also blinding your audience. Extra long battery life. Easy to mount and very secure. And surprisingly easy to stash in my gig bag.

This is the best stand light, period.
We've all seen the typical stand light with it's 40 watt tubular bulb. You can't read with a 40 watt bulb. I located a 60 watt tubular bulb and lined the shade with aluminum tape, shiny side out. You can't read with a 60 watt bulb. This light is expensive, but it will illuminate the entire two pages of European size music. It is worth it. This is my second light, one for home and one for rehearsals. It will hold a charge, full brightness, for at least two sessions of endless rehearsals. You will be the envy of the ensemble. Recharge the thing when you get home. I cannot say how long the LEDs will hold up. LEDs are supposed to go on close to forever but...What i didn't like is the seller wrapped the item with adhesive backed bubble wrap so the box was pretty well destroyed by the time I got to the light. It would not have been pretty if I had to return the light.

Let there be light…
Why did I wait so long to purchase this light? It’s full page, variable brightness and excellent quality. I have the rechargeable version but the cord is very long and useful.Excellent product, worth the relatively high price.

Nice, but pricy
This seems like a solid light and I like the brightness and the dimming feature. It is also good that it holds a charge and can be used while the batteries are charging. The reason it did not work for me is that I am a keyboard player and it casts an unfortunate shadow on the keys which caused some visual and depth perception issues. I would think it would be great for any other instrumentalist, just not for keyboardists.

Controllable Even Light plus Great Customer Service
It's a bit pricy compared to other music stand lights but it's totally worth it. I have used many music stand lights and finally settled on this one. The most important feature it stands out from others is the even light distribution across the music sheets. All others I have used show certain degrees of vignetting. The Aria Forte gives much more evenly distributed light. Also, the warm color temperature is very pleasing comparing to other mood-killers. I sent an email to Aria on a Saturday after the LED failed to turn on during the week. Surprisingly, I received a response the next day; yes, on a Sunday. I was instructed to go through some steps of self-diagnosis and determined the unit indeed had issues. On the same day, a returning label was emailed to me for getting the unit fixed. You cannot get better customer service anywhere else. Bravo Aria!

Does its job superbly.
First of all, the illumination is excellent; so the primary task is accomplished. Light is even from right to left, and almost as bright at the bottom as at the top, without any anomalous dim or bright spots. Its appearance is quietly handsome. It clips onto the music stand easily, and stays put securely. It is lightweight, sturdy, has no sharp edges, the switch and charger are well made, and comes with a protective zippered bag which is very handy when transporting it. I’ve not run it on battery for more than two hours at a time, but that use at full illumination did not deplete the power noticeably. I am happy to give top marks to a product of such quality.
