I bought this adaptor to use with my laptop for digital audio production and I haven't been disappointed. It retains the audio quality as I use a pair of high-end headphones. Works perfectly so far, seems pretty robust and good value but we'll see how it holds up with time. Initial impressions are all great!

Good quality good functionality

Worked well until today, suddenly had extremely tinny audio and after testing various possible issues I realised the wires within this adapter must have frayed at the male end. It's been less than four months and the adapter was plugged in and has never been touched or disconnected since, I can only assume it's either a manufacturing issue or it's a poorly made product.
