These are simple and a great deal. Beware. This length is more than you bargained for and when you unroll them, DO NOT let them twist. You will spend a frustrating 40 minutes sweating in the sun with your wife and angry kid trying to untangle the super fine wire. But they work fine and add a cool vibe to the yard when done. I wouldn't move them a lot as I said, the wire is super fine. But they seem to be holding up just fine. They do different things but the flashing is annoying to me. We just leave them on solid. They burn all night and are still on when day breaks.

my most favorite garden lights! They last several years before the batteries die out. They are adorable among my flowers, fairy houses, around our hot tub, over our patio cover. can't say enough about them. Hang them in your guest bath over the mirror or window coverings, in a child's room up along the ceiling.....a thumbtack will keep them in place easily.

Worked okay for 2 1/2 weeks except for randomly changing patterns on it's own. It took about 2 hours in the hot sun to install it around the hub and spokes of a decorative wagon wheel in our flower bed. I set the pattern for "steady on". After a couple of days it randomly changed the pattern. I'd reset it and it would be okay for a couple of days and change again. Then 2 nights ago it just stopped working. I made sure it was charging (a charging indicator lights up on the back of the solar panel). It just won't turn on anymore. Tried to return but you need to return it in the original packaging which is a small cardboard box that accidentally got thrown out. I thought Amazon would make it right but I thought wrong. Not pleased with this purchase.

So for me, when it came, the packaging on it was not that great. It looked quite flimsy and I wondered if it was actually 75 ft. Also, unraveling it was really challenging as it was just rolled together without being wrapped around something. This made it difficult to be unraveled and strung up, leaving a tangled mess. To fix that, I grabbed a long, wide spatula, this was all I could think of and had available at the time, and I painstakingly wrapped the string lights around the long, wide spatula. I did my best to wrap it in a way so that it would be easy to unroll once I had to actually use them. I found that once the wire was actually wrapped around something, like an empty paper towel roll or something. I was then able to control where I wanted to string the fairy lights, without it tangling. I currently have them strung and wrapped around the deck. The fairy lights are quite nice and have multiple settings to chose from. They actually stay on all night, which is quite amazing. It gives off a fun and beautiful touch to the property. So far, it has survived one rainstorm.

Great looking and easy to use

Fist off. These lights were just what we were looking for and look great at night.One word of warning to anyone that is buying them is be VERY careful unwinding them as received. They are not wrapped any kind of spool, and it's very easy to get them tangled. I spent over an a couple of hours on the first one untangling it and even with being very careful on the second one, I still had to spend time untangling it
