Problem Solved and it only took 60 years!
I have a beautiful Secretary desk that belonged to my great grandmother. It became mine when I started high school and I lamented for the next 60 years that the lock did not function, basically I gave up the idea of ever having the locking function. Don’t recall what I was shopping for on Amazon when I discovered the selection of old-style locking mechanisms, but undertook the challenge to see if I could find a replacement. I removed the old mechanism and began to search for a matching shape and size—and found this one. It fits like the original and was a breeze to install. Now when I pass the desk to my granddaughters, it will be fully functional as well as being a wonderful piece of furniture and connection to the past.

Great vintage keyhole lock
Bought one for an in wall whiskey cabinet I finished out. The lock worked great to keep the door closed and softy secured. It worked so well that I bought a second one for an in wall humidor that I built. You will have to purchase a key hole lock trim of your choice to complete the look. I paint my hardware satin black to match the pulls I had. This did require wood work with a router and chisel to install for my application.

Perfect
I ordered the lock & key to replace a lock that had no key on an old dresser i purchased. The lock & key came quickly & worked perfectly. I also ordered spare keys afterwards, just in case. The company was quick to respond to my questions & I had the spare keys arrive soon after. I'd definitely recommend this company.

Skeleton Key
Hard to find hardware. These items were the exact items I needed

Old desk lock.
I liked the lock and key it fits into the old slot very well but to entry hole is 1/8 inch different than the original. I had to recut the opening to fit deeper in the wood so the key would fit in the lock.
