Replacement 12V 2A AC Adaptor Charger Compatible for Mighty Portable by Storz and Bickel Portable Digital Volcano

The cord length was not too long and not too short. It was very functional and built with good quality. Good bang for my buck.

Went on vacation and realized I forgot my charger. Ordered this, it came the next day, and probably charges faster than the original. Prefect for what I needed

This charger works well and wish it came with an indicator light for charging or not charging.

I got this to power up my little wireless AP as it has the standard connector. It functions just fine as a replacement. It supplies the right amount of power and was easy to install.

I got this to try and repair a lamp I got that uses an adapter like this to power it up. The original was chewed up by my daughter’s pet rabbits and was tossed before I could get the specs off it. Unfortunately, this did not fix the issue as the adapter did not have enough power output to power the light. However, I noted that the adapter was well made and the connector fit perfect inside the lamp connector. I got the feeling it would have been perfect if it had worked. The only thing I didn’t like was the very short cord, but I didn’t mind that if it powered the light. Really stinks that I can’t figure out what the light had for an adapter. But I am done with figuring it out. I have been through three different adapters of varying outputs and the furthest I got was one at 5V and 2A of output that barely powered the light on. I figured if I stepped it up to 12V, that should power it totally fine. Nope! Oh well, probably for the better anyway. I never really cared for that lamp much anyhoo!

I have a bunch of these 12v power supplies that run infrared spot lights I have around my property that help with the night vision on my security cameras. Since they are plugged in 24/7 and most are outside in the elements I have to occasionally replace them. I usually just get on Amazon and buy one that is rated at 2 amps, has decent reviews and is a good price. This one I would say will do the trick just fine. I tested it with a load tester and as you can see in the photos it had a good 12v output all the way up to 1.5 amps. The voltage started to drop off after 1.5 amps but honestly was still decent and usable up to 3 amps. However I would imagine running this thing at the full 2 amps or beyond will cause it to burn out pretty fast. I would expect this from most any brand when running it at or beyond the rated output. That's why I would recommend it for a load of 1.5 amps or less and you will probably get decent life out of it. I did run it at 1.5 amps for about an hour and it was still outputting a good 12v by the end so all is good so far but only time will tell how long it will last. I also tested and it did have an overcurrent cutout at just over 3 amps which can be seen in the video. FYI, center pin is positive and the outer in negative and is a 5.5x2.1mm connector.
