Awesome case
This case works great. Looks slick, kind of a PIYA to put together but you just have to follow the instructions. After the first it's no sweat. MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. For some reason with the first one I neglected to remove the protective film but it definitely makes a difference on cooling. Since I corrected my mistake I've had no problems with cooling even OC PI's. Cant' recommend enough for the price. No power warnings with the included cable, and no temp warnings with the fan. I haven't used the fan on low power mode, but why would you? It's the size of a quarter and makes no noise even on the high setting.

VERY Protective; Proper-fitting; Excellent Value
This case is not only attractive, but it is a perfectly designed protective case for my new 2018 Pi. I used the manufacturer's YouTube video for assembly ... and learned that there's a HIGH and LOW pair of GPIO pins we can use for the fan. Properly assembled and the four corner case screws tightened, this is a perfect-fitting case for your new Pi. There was a comment that Layer 4 - because it was "split" - might suddenly and without warning come loose and destroy delicate surface-mount components. This is a phenomenon that only an engineer would take note of: It is a split-piece layer and, if one WERE to loosen the case screws, take a flat-blade screwdriver and shove Layer 4 inwards - I can see how you could cause some damage. But that is an engineer's perspective: He can make it fail, but it is not going to happen in the real world (IF you assemble per the instructions and tighten the four corner screws). If that -never-going-to-occur phenomenon bothers you, then you could use an appropriate bonding adhesive to "stick" Layer Four with its adjacent layer. But I am having absolutely NO reservations with the product as-is - even handing it to an audience to pass around as I discuss the AstroPi project during my amateur radio satellite presentations.

Functional++ and great PS features
I bought this for a B+ and it fits exactly. The wall wart and switched cable are a great addition. Pictoral assembly instructions are flawless. Notes:- Great inclusion of an extra mounting screw for the fan! (I dropped/lost one).- Parts are very well cut and stack perfectly.- Fan orientation is a bit of a guess, but probably works well enough flipped either way and is indicated if you look closely at the pictures.- Unlike the instructions, I found it easier to build with the nylon screws facing up from the bottom to stack the layers on.- All the connectors clear well. Of course, the parallel connector is blocked by the fan power if you need that.I would by again!

good little case for a Pi B+
UPDATE: I like this case a little less now than I did originally. I've found out that there are identical cases available here that *include* a fan guard. Would have been nice if it was included.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I like this case for the most part. It fits a B+ perfectly and it has a good appearance. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. However, I recommend looking them over first and take your time disassembling the case prior to putting your Pi in it. And be gentle with the pieces because they're a bit fragile. If a piece doesn't fit then take your time and try it again.Once the case is put together with the Pi inside it is sturdy. The case I received had metal M3 screws and nuts but it appears that some people could get nylon M3s instead. I decided to use threaded nylon M3 standoffs in place of the M3 nuts on the bottom. This raises the case a little off the table.The supplied fan is quiet, and appears to be effective. It's even reasonably quiet running it at 5v. The supplied heat sinks (3 of them!) are nice, and the supplied power supply has a decent ON/OFF switch.Another "plus" for this particular case is that you can easily insert the micro SD card. Most of the other cases I've seen online do not appear to have an opening for the SD card.The only issue I've had is that I wish that the Pi's onboard LEDs were more visible through the case.

Worked perfect for my RPi 3B
Used for my Raspberry Pi 3B (NOT + PLUS). It was a perfect fit and holds everything securely. I love the looks. Everything functions well. I was getting low voltage issues with my last 2.5A power supply but no issues with this 3A one with the kit. Really a great secure case if you don't have to access your board frequently, but why would you put it in a case while having to access the board constantly anyway? It's easy (4-screws) to get back into the case also, so really not an issue yet.Heat sinks have actual thermal tape.

Great case
Love this case! Its something different from the others out there and really good value for money considering it comes with the PSU, fan and heatsinks. It's maybe a little bit more challenging to assemble than perhaps more standard cases, but once it's put together it's a great looking and solid.

5 Stars with the Improved Assembly Instructions
This case has been my go-to for 3B+ based media client builds. The fit, value, and quality of components can not be beat. The only issue was the pamphlet with the instructions. They were confusing and suggested a less than useful assembly sequence. This concern was been resolved with the instructions that came with the most recent delivery (pictures included). The new instructions are now easy to follow, are sequenced correctly, and contain only a minimum of text. The only improvement I can see would be if a small grate to protect the fan from prying cats' noses could be included.

DOES NOT FIT TINKER BOARD 2s!
Nice looking case but it doesn’t fit the tinker board 2s. That board comes with a huge cpu heat sink! This case won’t fit it. Nice case but wrong size. I tried to mod it but it still would not fit! I also heard it doesn’t fit the potato board also! Hope this helps someone!
