I’m sharing my honest, real-life experience — I’m not a seller or marketing person. I bought this Kubotan because I needed a reliable glass breaker that fits well in hand from different angles, unlike tactical pens which can be awkward to grip.It offers two types of grips: one has a solid, secure hold, while the other has a rough texture meant to improve grip but lacks any finger lock, so it’s only decent—not very secure. The tip is slightly pointed but not sharp enough to puncture skin easily — more for applying pressure or breaking glass in emergencies.It’s lightweight, likely made of hard aluminum, but the build quality is a bit disappointing. Stainless steel and more weight would have made it tougher and more reliable. For quick emergencies or basic self-defense, it’s okay. But for camping or survival, where you might depend on it to puncture wood or stone for days, it’s not the right tool — it’s just not built for heavy use.I’m not returning it because it does the basic job and is compact (around 5 inches), so it fits easily in your pocket. But don’t expect more than that specially for camping you need atleast stainless steel because steal is cheap, stronge, and corrosion free(rust free) which is the key of survival durable and maintenance free.

Don’t buy useless piece of equipment - certainly not for self defence - and for purpose of a pen too heavy - for glass window breaking - a Swiss knife set way better
