Exactly what I needed to repair my zipper. 3 sizes, stops, tool, adn clearly written and illustratedinsturctions made this a very easy to do task.

Used on my sweat shirt with a broken zipper. Also used on a couple other items and worked well for those.

I was being dumb one day and I thought I would use the bag for my mini goals as extra storage. Well the zipper for the goal busted wide open. This could have caused me to throw away my back and just lug the things around but this kit was perfect for that situation. I never fixed a broken zipper before and I really had no idea how all that worked. I followed the instructions, snipped a opening at the end of the zipper and threaded on the new zipper. Then I clamped on the end line pieces and I was able to zip the bag up. I have notice that sometimes the zipper doesn't zip right away and I have to back up an do a rezip. That could be user error on my part but at least I can zip this bag and also I have all of these extra pieces for if I ever encounter another zipper issue.

Pro's - sliders come in different styles and sizes and two different colors. Con's - does not give enough instructions as to how to install them on a new zipper and could not use them when trying to put them on an invisible zipper. Tried different methods but was unsuccessful. Other than that, they're a good product at a good price.

**ALERT: these do not come with directions. You either need to already know how to use them or you can check out YouTube for DIY videos.** Where I live we get maybe a month's worth of use out of a winter coat and I broke the zipper on mine last year. I just could not bring myself to buy another coat because of how little it gets used and it was perfectly fine other than the zipper. My mom is super crafty and she was going to fix it for me but when she saw it she knew she did not have the pieces she needed. I didn't know that these pieces could be replaced and learning that I thought it would be better to have some spares laying around since zippers are usually what goes on my bags and clothes so I purchased this set of various zipper replacement parts. This zipper replacement kits comes with 3 different sizes of zippers in black and silver plus bottom and top stoppers in various sizes. It also comes with a pair of pliers. All of the hardware was in a single ziplock bag, which doesn't bother me since it was all going to go into the bottom of a drawer anyways. The pliers have a cone-shaped bag over the head to help protect it and keep the oils on it so they do not rust. My mom was able to fix my coat and said that it was pretty easy. It zips up and down just fine now though it is currently in the 100's at the moment so I am not going to give it a good wear for a while. I have a purse and a hoodie that I am going to get her to fix next. I am happy to know that these items can be fixed. Please check your sizing before ordering. I would also highly suggest checking out some videos on YT if this will be your first replacement to ensure you are getting the right sizes and that it is something you feel you are capable of doing.

Very disappointing. I needed a 5 gauge and even their largest (8 gauge) did not work... 1st one busted very easily before I could even use it, 2nd one - I could not pull... I had to pull with all my strength to get it to move... It would take me 5 minutes or longer to zipper and end up with indents in my fingers!

The kit has a nice variety of sizes, including some double pulls for reversible jackets, The nipper tool worked fine. The directions were simple and easy to follow but I could've used a little more detail. The directions mention using tweezers and I wish the kit included them as I do not have any in my home, but otherwise, this kit was exactly what I wanted as I was not sure what size pull I needed to replace the one that was missing and now I have enough pulls for other projects that may come up. The cost was very fair.

My son's Rebock winter jacket has a broken zipper. These zipper pulls do not fit over the fabric of the zipper. I'm not referring to the fabric at the top that is typically difficult to overcome, I'm referring to the fabric along the entire length of the zipper on both sides. I used a razor blade to open the sides a little but then the zipper pull won't close the zipper properly. The jacket zipper is nylon. The set includes a variety of zipper pull sizes and while there are many pieces in the set, there are only a couple of different sizes in terms of width however, they are all intended for use on thin, lightweight fabrics.

I tried these on 3 different zips, none fit. They don't align properly. Don't waste your hard earned money on these.

The metal is low quality and the tab bent while installing first zipper, not going to use it as i feel it will just break and have to fix again soon.. when I tested strength of other zipper it broke in two pieces.

Cannot imagine where are all the good comments come from? So cheap and so bad quality, and cannot qualified for return! So think more than twice before you purchase this
