Reliable and Versatile for Everyday Carry
I recently purchased the Vertx S.O.C.P. Tactical Fanny Pack, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its functionality and design. This bag is perfect for concealed carry and EDC needs, whether I’m out on a trail or running errands. The CCW compartment is well-thought-out, with secure holster retention and easy access, fitting my compact firearm comfortably. The multiple pockets, including the mesh organizer and hidden compartment, keep my essentials like a phone, wallet, and small med kit neatly organized. The adjustable strap makes it versatile for waist or crossbody wear, and the durable, water-resistant material holds up well in various conditions. My only minor critique is that the phone pocket is a bit snug for larger smartphones, but it’s a small issue compared to the overall quality. Highly recommend this fanny pack for anyone seeking a discreet, reliable carry solution!

Great bag but
So I ordered this bag twice as I had second thoughts. For what I want, it is just too big and too busy. The phone pocket, Vertx, just drop it from future models. No one is secret squirrel filming anybody unless your trying to catch a felony. For reference, my iPhone 14 pro max in rather thin case was a struggle to get in the secret squirrel phone pocket. It would fit in the main part of the phone pocket area. After I ripped open the Velcro. Just put a zipper on this area and call it great. The firearms section is about perfect. You get a decent retention system that will hold a firearm secure. Unlike that strip of Velcro that Eberlerstock offers with theirs. Seriously Estock just don't put anything in the Bando if that's all you can do.Vertex- why the removable organizer thingy in the firearms section? The idea of concealed is not showing your piece to the world. Why put that decent organizer in with the firearm?Seriously, Vertex, you have a great platform here. Loose that phone pouch or at least make it creeper proof and put a plain old plain guy zipper on it.If somebody would take the plan jane look of the Eberlestock Bando and mix it with the feature set of the Vertex SOCP. Now that would be a fine concealed fanny pack. For the record I sent both sizes of the Bando back along with the SOCP.

Totally worth the money
The media could not be loaded. Well made and definitely worth the money. I also own the sling backpack same brand never fails little expensive, but I get it if you’re a concealed carry person, you’ll be totally happy with this purchase.

Great for EDC, but….
After a 7 month test. I must say, I love this fanny pack! It started off in my rotation for edc and especially when I have to off body carry (I carry a Hellcat pro with a red dot). To it now being my primary edc bag, due to its size, quality, and organization. I carry this bag across the chest while driving, and swing it across my back (as a sling) while walking around. The only issue I have with this bag, which is why I only gave it 4 starts, is the straps slip sometimes. I have to adjust the length constantly. However, I’ll highly recommend!

Big enough but not to bulky
Looked at many. This is by far the best I have found. You won’t regret this purchase!

Love it!
In the picWallet, keys, oc spray, 1600mh charger+cable, earbuds, Taurus G3C+17rn mag with spare 10rn mag.Fits them all easily!I only use it as a sling since it's honestly pretty big so I don't use it as a fanny pack.I put male Velcro on the back of an old holster I took off the claw. Works perfectly, I wouldn't recommend bothering with the Velcro holster it comes with. I took it apart and used the strap portion as a holster for my spare mag. Just wrap it around the mag tight and Velcro it and the mag will stay put, it works great!Overall love the pack, fits all my EDC with room and pockets to spare and I can still get a fast draw with enough practice. Love the two loops on each corner of the zipper. It took practice but figured out how to use it so I can use it to fast draw! I looped the longer of the two Paracord cables it came with around one of the loops. Let it dangle out of the bag. Pull horizontal and it will open the bag enough for me to fit my hand in to get and grip on the handle of my gun! Will probably replace the Paracord with a tag in the future. Once you practice enough you can get the technique down! It's more about the bag than I will say now. This is me just talking about the aspects I love and use! Based off these alone I 100% recommend.

Top notch
Great Fanny/sling pack. Made some changes to mine, removed the bulky awkward phone pouch in front since my phone didn't fit and it also made it slimmer without it. Love the organization and build quality. Tried carrying mid size frame in it but made it too heavy for my liking. A subcompact with mag and other EDC gear makes it's very manageable. Not perfect but very good

Good & Bad
The pack itself is phenomenal. Excellent layout, good concealed carry pocket, good storage. The belt however, awful. Constantly loses tension and I find myself having to take it off and tighten at least once per day. For the price point of this pack the belt should be on par with the rest of the quality.I have another pack that was under $30 that has become my edc solely because it's built with an elastic duty belt with heavy duty buckle. Stays tight all day and never needs adjusted.
