Really Fast, Really Easy, and Strong
If you own a DF 500, do yourself a favor and grab one of these kits to try. I just built my first project (some shop furniture just as a test), and I’m impressed!First, cutting the proper mortises and holes for these connectors is super quick, especially combined with the positioning stops on the domino, and also with the Seneca Woodworking Domiplate (if you have one).For cabinets and other casework, these really are super handy. No need to clamp because these draw the boards together tightly, and of course everything is lined up nicely.If you want an easy to follow video in how to use these, check out Guy’s Woodshop video about them on Youtube.

Creates a solid joint with great tensile strength
These connectors are pricey but they do draw the joined pieces together more securely than cam bolts and also provide a quicker, more repeatable installation method.I’ve found them especially useful for drawing miter joints tight while glue is curing. Great for picture frames and mirror frames.The male end of the connector is tapered so as the allen bolt is tightened, the joint is pulled together.

Incredible Strength
This is our first time using this system, and could not be more pleased. Our knockdown desk is incredibly strong and breaks down easily. Our first experience with Festool; there may be no going back.

Very Stout Connectors
While I am not a huge Festool fan I must admit the Domino is a very useful machine and this connector system is impressive. The connectors are solid and do a great job of pulling pieces together making a strong joint. I am knocking off one star because the tip on the included driver snapped off after just a few uses. This seems to be typical Festool, they just can't resist cheaping out somewhere. At least the important parts are well made.
