This is a handmade crochet storage tub made from t-shirt yarn. As the walls and base are double layered, this tub holds its shape well, even if empty, though there is still some give. Choice of stitch used means the seam to the rear is barely visible. It can be flattened for storage and the bottom section on the inside is completely removable. Due to the nature of T-Shirt yarn being recycled the yarn is different thicknesses, meaning it will not be perfectly round, adding to the overall handmade effect. There will be knots on the inner aspect of the tub where new yarn is joined, however as it is double layered these are not visible when it is constructed. The T-shirt yarn may be more durable than some of the more traditional yarns so is great for home wear. It's use of different stitches and colours of a modern yarn gives a simple contemporary feel whilst being mindful of the environment. It's a multi-functional tub. Materials: T-shirt Yarn recycled from remnants and surplus of the fashion industry- 90% high quality recycled cotton, 10% other recycled fibres, or cotton dependant on brand. Colours: Blues and Whites Size: approximately 14cm high, 26cm wide externally, 11cm high, 22cm wide internally Pattern Origin: Original Ori and Flo design using a well known technique of working in the round but making it unique through choice of colour, yarn and stitch combination. Care Advice: Dependant on the brand of t-shirt yarn used, full advice will be given with each order, some are machine washable (in a laundry bag inside out if possible) others are hand wash only. The fabric may take some time to dry, therefore it is advised where possible to spot clean
