Value for money.

I actually found this stranded wire to be Copper all the way down to its core which is what it called out in its specifications. I had to learn the hard way and I got burned when I bought what I thought was pure copper (solid) wire. I had purchased a spool of copper coated aluminum wire. It looked like a pure copper wire when I bought it but it wasn’t pure copper. So you might want to do as I do now, carry a very used wire cutter into the big box store and cut a very small piece off the end and see the cross section. Pure copper wire is easily twice the cost more than the copper coated wire, but I think it’s worth the effort to check it and the additional money is worth it as well.

Good for low wattages and amperage, good quality

This is a good quality 16 guage 2 conductor low-voltage wire. We ordered it because of its copper core, as copper has excellent conductivity, that core is plated in tin. The outside is wrapped in PVCm, which is a bit thin but still resistant to moisture, abrasion, corrosion, and general light weather and sun conditions. We are using it for outside lighting projects.

This was everything I needed to complete a job on my truck.
