Awesome lather bowl. It's light weight, unbreakable, attractive hanging on the wall, and the dimples help in whipping up lather quickly.

Beautiful item. It's smaller than it looks, but just right for whipping up a nice lather. It makes an attractive addition to your 1/10 of the vanity or medicine cabinet guys! It will take a long time to arrive due to the origin, but it's worth the wait. It feels sturdy and has sort of an antique feel. Worth more than the asking price.

I have about 15 shaving bowls of various shapes and materials that I use for both cream hard soaps. While one is stone and likely cost over $100.00, my favorite is actually a dog bowl (double lined) I got when I first started shaving with a straight razor a decade ago.This copper bowl is a great size for either cream or hard soaps (although I’m not sure of the long term effects of a melted hard soap placed inside), and the dimples on the interior really assist in whipping up lather.The construction of the bowl is rough, but it does not appear cheap when on display in a razor case. One issue with this (and any other non-insulated metal bowl) is that it quickly cools to the ambient or surface temperature; which in turn cools its contents (resulting in cold shave lather on second application). That said, I now keep it on a towel when I intend to make a second pass, and place it in the sink with warm water when not lathering; which works.

This bowl is tin plated on the inside and a some copper on the outside.It does lather really well and am glad i purchased this.

Nice little shaving bowl. Light, thin metal but have no reservations about it's longevity or durability. Fast delivery too. Exactly what I was looking for to have hanging from the razor display rack I made.

Took maybe 5 days to arrive, so don’t sweat it not being prime. Arrived as pictured. It’s the perfect compromise bt cup/mug and bowl. I’ve lost count of glass n ceramics broken in shower (yikes) or tubside. This is great for left-handed, clumsy folk.
