Quality machine comfortable to use and hold with a decent handle Takes a while to heat up and melt the glue sticks but worth being patient as the low temperature makes working with hot glue less painful when you accidentally get some on you. Also very handy for certain crafts which can be damaged by heat.

Good price and great little product for home crafting. Bought this to make homemade Santa sleigh selection boxes for the kids in our family and they went down a storm!

Really disappointed that there was not one x glue stick to get you started. I went everywhere in my town looking for the correct size glue stick - only to find every gun had sticks attached. Really mean. Hard size to find.

Really poorly made and does not work. Glue sticks get stuck then the glue doesn’t come out. Waste of money tbh.

"Rapid" may sound like one of those made-up names that Asian firms invent to pass-off unbrandsd goods, but don'r be misled. 'Rapid Electronics' is a well-known and well-respected British firm, supplying a huge range of good quality items to the electronics and educational markets. This little glue gun is typical - inexpensive, no-frills and not suitable for intensive use, but excellent for a hobbyist. It uses OVAL low-temperature glue sicks which produce the opalescent finish that you'll often see in shell-craft. I particularly like the fact that the glue doesn't readily stick to the casing - unlike high-temperature hot glue - so it doesn't need cleaning every few days. Two small niggles: it has no LED to show that it's switched on, which could be a hazard in educational settings, and it doesn't come with any glue sticks - you'll have to buy a full pack before you can test the gun properly, and the ones supplied by Rapid aren't cheap. However the gun does exactly what it advertises, no more and no less so. in the right environment, it represents good value for money.

Really good for using on balloons and low heat craft projects and decorations.

After a while the glue gun gets hot. I use them for balloons decorations and because of the heat of the glue, my balloons end up popping. After an hour it becomes hot.
