Not the same.
I have used the Isotech Goutrol that was in a bottle for 17 years and 10 years before that in another kind of packaging. The item featured here says "improved" but does not say MRM or ISOTech anywhere on the label. The IsoTech version, (do a search here on Amazon) has been discontinued and was distributed by MRM. This product, though related does have different ingredients such as kelp which is not in the Isotech version and also two different extraction processes for each of these products. If you have gout that is maybe not complicated by oxalic acid content of foods, this product would be worth trying and might work well for you. I, unfortunately do have problems with high to medium content of oxalic acid in foods that turns into uric acid crystals and gout. This product in the box is 30 capsules in a blister pack. The price is less then the IsoTech Goutrol but it may cause less to produce. I give them credit for wanting to improve the formula but they already had a perfect formula of Isotech for me that I shall miss.
