Not fit for purpose
I was very happy to find this extra large ring binder on amazon, but was very disappointed when I tried to use it and the lever didn't function the way it should. Nothing happens when I press the lever to open or close the paper holders. I have to physically pull the paper holders apart to open them and physically push them back together to close. The paper holders are quite stiff and don't line up either when closed as a new ring binder should. I have to shift them into place. I've stopped using it now as the task has become very annoying and it's only a matter of time, I think, before the constant, manual pushing, pulling and lining it up, ruin it. Very unhappy to say the least after paying so much for this ring binder. To say I'm very disappointed is an understatement.

It's smaller then A4!
I bought this for a pattern sample folder It arrived marked on the inside where the rings had transferred dirt, it matched up perfectly as seen in pictures. I decided to look past it for the moment and went to put my pages inside but found A4 pages don't fit properly, they stick out a little either end or a lot one end. I did try with other types of A4 paper to see if the page I originally used wasn't true A4 but instead larger paper, sadly It wasn't the paper that was wrong. This just isn't fit for purpose as its going to damage the pages every time you set it down and will become tattered very quickly. I need something to keep my pages clean and safe. I cut my A4 page down by 2cm for it to fit comfortably but that just wasn't practical to do for over 100 pages. I was so happy when it finally arrived I confidently took out the end and side papers and threw them out so now I can't even return it, really regretting that. End of the day It's smaller then A4, A4 pages will stick out. It came mildly marked up and damaged I would have loved this product if only it as was made to fit A4, just 2cm higher and if it came in a better condition. Overall really disappointed

August 5th 2012: This binder is massive. I fit over 1,000 pages of paper, page dividers, and flash cards. When I first got it, it looked like something from a cartoon. I mean, it was much larger than my 4" and just looked fictional. I've already had it for a few months. The rings are okay, but they do open occasionally and bend a little, which is expected due to the massive size of the binder. Overall, an incredible purchase for anyone who wants to keep all of their important papers in one area. February 27th, 2013: After over 6 months, the rings are starting to warp a little, just like they do with any binder that you put a lot of pages into. It's expected, but it still sucks.
