EZE-LAP 600C Coarse Grit Diamond Needle File Set

This was a very coarse set. Being new to this area of craftsmanship, I did not expect it to be so coarse. It is too coarse for what I want it for (sharpening hole saws). So even though it is what it was represented as, it was not what I really wanted, so hard to give it 5 stars (I did not love it!). But I will keep it for some use in the future, and buy a finer version.While I hold myself ultimately responsible for the purchase, I think the description could use clarifications. For example, what are some of the uses for something this SMALL and yet so coarse? That is what is really at the root of my dissatisfaction.

Really do the job . Needed to file smooth some earring posts. Fine grade diamond files works, but it took several hours to remove 1/32th of an inch for a single post. With these coarse file, less than 1 minute. Really!. good selection of shapes for a multitude of applications. Perfect! Highly recommended.

Great for sharpening pocket knives, scissors, fishing hooks, hunting knives, awls, or anything else that is small and can be held in the hand.
