DANGEROUS - DO NOT BUY
Only a day after being installed (by a professional electrician) I began to have problems with the light (flickering, wouldn’t stay on long before going off completely, switch getting warm). I was unable to use, got the electrician back out who took it apart and showed that the switch had melted on the inside. Completely unsafe and unfit for purpose.

Exactly what I needed
We decided to get a new, modern, light fitting for our lounge. The old one had the old light bulbs and a dimmer switch. We liked this feature. It was great to be able to dim the lights, just like a cinema. They were also switched on or off from either of two switches, one at each lounge door. Having read reviews, etc. we knew that the LED bulbs would need to be non-flicker. You've guessed -- they flickered! Searching Amazon we found this replacement dimmer switch. It is perfect. It was a simple task to take out the old switch, make sure the wires went into the correct connections and put the cover back on. The light now dims, without flickering, and can be switched on or off from either of our two switches. Brilliant!

Works OK (so far)
Good value for money. Fitted it a couple of days ago and it is OK so far. The only reason for giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is that it could be better designed. Fitting the electrical unit to the front plate is a bit fiddly because of the fine thread on the locking nut. It would be much easier if you could do this before attaching the lighting wires but the screws for the terminals are on the side facing the front plate, meaning that the wires have to be attached first. This makes attaching the locking nut much more fiddly.

Great dimmer switches nice and thin, great look for the price, easy to use seem to be well made, low noise, nice feel too

Dangerous, poor quality
Absolutely useless. It worked for 2 minutes now I can only turn on the light and nothing more. giving 100% light No adjustment possible!!! Absolutely rubbish

Nice dimmer, missing parts on one switch.
I ordered two of these dimmers. They work very well with low draw leds. They looks nice, however slightly disappointing that one switch didn’t include plastic caps to complete the flush look. The packaging and included fixing each switch was slightly different.
