Very powerful lift capability from this arm. I hope to use it to raise a LCD monitor up from a hidden slot of a desk. Very easy to wire up to a 12VDC power source for operation. Build quality is excellent. And the motor is smooth and relatively quiet. Affordable too. Great choice for all your DIY projects.

I hooked this up temporarily just to see the action. This was a no load test running the actuator up and down. BTW, you will need a reversing switch to operate it. It's a good looking actuator and had smooth motion. It will be awhile before I am ready to add this to my design. I did want to get my initial thoughts out there though.

Build quality seems good. Stroke length as specified. Moves close to the specified speed, but it is voltage-dependent. Certainly not silent, but quiet enough.Reasonable value; does what it's supposed to do.

It works just as it should. Plenty of power and a perfect replacement for an existing one.

Quality seems good, but the descriptions states actuator has a waterproof rating of IP65. Product manual inside box specifies only a waterproof rating of IP54.
