Venustas Men's Heated Fleece Vest with 6 Heating Zones, Lightweight Recycled Electric Fleece Vest

Well made, comfortable and the electric heating works well and is welcome during cold weather. The battery plug seems compatible only with Venustas batteries, and the one included provides only limited service between recharges.

I was hesitant to order, so many selections online. I am more than thrilled that I took a chance and ordered Venustas. I have used the vest in this manner…. Turn on high for just a few minutes, then down on low, and after a while when comfortable turn off, the vest does a great job of retaining heat. Once I start getting chilled again, I turn on medium heat for a little while then back to low and alternate back and forth through the day as needed. I usually get 8 hours of use doing this method. I will be buying one for my wife and my 89 year old dad. In fact I think this item would be great to market for senior citizens, my dad Is always feeling cold or chilled. When you order, order one size above what you wear in a jacket.

Unless you wear something substantial over it. When you power it on, the button lights up. No, wait, it LIGHTS UP!!!!!!It is far too bright to safely wear while driving. I tried wearing my hoodie over it, and it's STILL bright. You'll be seen for miles, but won't be able to see anyone else because the danged button literally blinds your left eye.I found no instructions anywhere, just warranty stuff. Be careful cutting the tags off the zipper. They are apparently required to be still connected if you need to return it.And the battery, well, I can't be sure yet. It came charged to one bar. I charged it for several hours and it was showing 2 going on 3 bars, but when I unplugged it, it showed 4 full bars.Ok, enough nitpicking. It fits perfectly. It warms quickly, and unless you sit in a comfy chair or try to sleep in it (the battery makes a lump around the left kidney), it's very comfortable. I hadn't really thought about it, but part of the heat panel placement also warms the pockets. Outstanding, because I'm known for forgetting gloves or mitts.It's not cold enough here to really test it, but so far it's done well to a bit below freezing without cracking high gear or any cover garment. Toss a windproof shell over it, I suspect it'd excel, though I have no idea yet how long the battery lasts on high. They claim 8 hours on low. I can't really test it until I'm a bit more comfortable with how this battery charges and exactly what constitutes 'full'.Overall, so far, an acceptable purchase. I just wish I could cover the light easily, maybe just a flap, but they want their logo seen, so don't hold your breath. Aftermarket opportunity?

This electric vest is great for cold weather low output activity such as walking or doing chores and repairs on the farm. It combines well with a light jacket or wind/rain coat. On a recent walk in 45 degree temps I set it to low after I warmed up and it was perfectly comfortable. I have not used it long enough to test its reliability or battery life. The battery seems to live up to its expectations so far.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. It fits great. Quality of the fabric and product is good. I notified Customer Service regarding some questions and they were very prompt with dealing with my issues. I would recommend this product.

This vest was recommended to me by a friend who loves his. I’m recommending it to you because I love mine! It’s just what I needed for working nights outdoors. Battery lasts about 10-12 hours of mixed temperature settings, more than enough power for the whole night. Keeps me nice and toasty. And it’s great looking too!

Nice vest, good battery life, warm....Battery pack is housed in the space directly behind my kidney...Makes it near impossible to have the battery plugged in while sitting (driving car especially). Will have to figure out some way to move it to another location. Vest is also quite heavy...

Stayed charged all day!

The heating elements in this vest seem to cover a wider area front and back than most products of this type. Heats quickly, with three temperature settings. In my experience, the battery lasts about 8 hours before needing a recharge. Vest fits me perfectly (6', 160 lbs. -- taller or heavier guys should definitely select a larger size). Two zippered outside pockets, one zippered inside pocket (for the battery). Surprisingly light weight yet quite warm even without using the heat function. Includes a very classy zippered vinyl travel/storage bag with handle as well as a sturdy little box for storing the battery and charger. Easy to clean -- machine wash cold water in a mesh laundry bag. Hang to dry. All features considered, this is a very impressive piece of functional clothing.

First glance this vest is really nice and the liner is really soft. Packaging high end as well. Great location for battery and it heats up and stays warm as expectedDefinitely recommend

bought in March of course wasn't cold enough to use until October and yes I've had issues. HOWEVER! The supplier has been extremely helpful. Even though way past return date they have replaced the unit and I can't say enough about customer service. 👍👍

This garment kept me nice and warm in very cold -30 celcius and lower temp.
