no this fits a round hole about 2'' on a 5 gallon paint pail

Does lid need to be removed to install pour spout ??

You only need remove the lid to stir your paint. Once you've replaced the lid back on securely(rubber mallet and rubber mallet it again), remove the round stopper and you can screw or pop this gizmo on. My paint came from Benjamin Moore and their 5 gallon buckets do not require the black screw on part. It is super simple to pop the nozzle out and replace the stopper for storage. To open your bucket, do yourself a favor and get one of these. Linzer 5425 Plastic 5-Gallon Paint Can Opener.

Does it fit home depot’s 5 gal bucket?

It did two years ago, not sure if the bucket design changed

where can you find a lid that has threads that is compatible with this??

It’s hit or miss…some 5 gallons of paint have it and some don’t
